I cannot thank the carers and all the staff at Home Instead in Holt (North Norfolk) enough for their kindness, dedication and professionalism in providing home care support services to my mum and dad who live in Holt. The staff at Home Instead really do take the time to form a working relationship with their clients and this is so important as a key principle on providing truly person centred care. Living as I do 100's of miles from my parents it is so re-assuring to know mum and dad are cared for by such fantastic people and I cannot thank them enough. Home Instead North Norfolk has provided twice daily care for my wife for the last six months. It has been wonderful working with them, from the initial meeting to decide what our needs are and how best to meet them to the meeting last week as part of a routine follow-up. They are lovely, caring people and Home Instead provide a flexible service that is outstanding in every way.

Home Instead in Holt were like a life line during a difficult time, when my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimers. All the carers were incredibly kind and helpful. They not only got things done with great efficiency but treated my mum with kindness and sensitivity. They also provided me with a lot of support. I can't ever thank them enough.

Home Instead have looked after my elderly aunt in Cromer for 2.5 hours every day for the past 12 months. My aunt's strongest desire was to remain in her home as long as she could and Home Instead made this possible. At every level of the organisation, they have shown both compassion and professionalism and I don't hesitate in recommending their services to others.

My partners parents have been using this agency for a few months now. . Agreed visit times were put in place but now are sometimes either late starting or being changed the day before via a phone call to her father and not agreed with my partner before hand. Now through conversation with the caregiver we have found out we were charged double time for a bank holiday visit and we was not aware of this. Considering the amount charged per hour which is nearly thirty pounds and the most expensive in the area we would have expected a better service but this is not the case. On raising the change of visit times my partner was advised it is down to the current operating climate which we can fully understand but it take a few minutes to inform my partner. The double charge for a bank holiday is in the contract she was advised. The ladies that visit are very nice but the admin staff seem to lack communication skills at all levels. I hope this helps anyone thinking of employing this agency to check the small print and be aware of the hard sell prior to commencing any signed contract with this agency.

My Sister and I could not recommend enough the team from Home Instead Holt. They initially cared for our Father in his last few months and as he finally came home for palliative care they were sensitive and amazingly supportive of not only Dad but the whole of our family. Mum and Dad lived some distance from us and it felt like having family close. They have since then cared for Mum as her Dementia has progressed. We never worried, the team were there for us all, supporting Mum locally and being an utterly reliable and flexible presence. They allowed Mum to have independence in a town that she and our Dad loved until she was unable to express that independence any more. If you are wondering whether to call or not we would say unhesitatingly, just call and have a conversation, they may well be the wonderful answer for you that they have been for us.

Home Instead initially cared for both my parents then my mother when my father died. All the carers provided an excellent service of care and companionship. The family felt mum and dad were safe in their care and carers often went the extra mile with their care such as cooking a Sunday meal or going on hospital visits . Carers were consistent to enable them to get to know mum and dad well. The agency always answered our queries quickly and efficiently , were available 24/7. The report app provided an excellent way for family to keep up to date with mum and dads care. Grateful thanks to Home Instead for making a challenging time easier especially when we couldn’t see our parents during Covid lockdown.
