Culligran Cottages

Stayed there a couple of years ago and were wild about the Glenn, the hills" many above 3000 feet (called "munros" by locals) with plenty of lakes

A great collection of self catering Chalets and cottage, 2 to 4 bedroom, in nice location in one of the best Glens in Scotland.

What a fabulous location! First visit, but pencilled in for next year. Badger watching on the evening, cycling and walking the Glen. Very peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Everything you need in the Chalets too. Highly recommended!!

Amazing scenery all around, quaint and peaceful, with plenty close by for little days out.

We have stayed at culligran Cottages for the last six years and have loved every second. I would say there is pretty much something for everyone lots of walks, beautiful scenery, fishing and biking lots to explore and located close enough to be a base to explore other parts of Scotland if that's what you want theres stunning beaches only just over 1hr away. We can't wait to come back next year and hopefully catch some more of those beautiful Brownies on the farrar.

Hosted by Frank, these cottages give one the opportunity to spend time in one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland. The experience was enjoyed by all in our party, more accustomed to the sirens and smog of South London.The river Farrar runs through the glen and is picturesque beyond words and teaming with life. The local gillie, Dennis, is a true gentleman and has endless enthusiasm in sharing his knowledge.The hills to the north of the glen are vast and unspoilt. You can bag the Strathfarrar Four (munros) and there is plenty more walking/hiking besides.The place is timeless.P.S. midge repellent doesn't work, invest in a midge net and accept that you are now part of the food chain.

A fantastic lodge in a beautiful private glen. No real mod cons here which is a great thing. Gets you out and about. The wildlife is fab and the hosts Frank and Juliette are wonderful. You should go for as long as possible to appreciate everything

Spotless accommodations. Friendly and helpful owners. Peaceful location. Very reasonable price. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Beautiful and quiet with easy access to all amenities and the many places of interest. Owned and efficiently run by the owners. Go there if you like nature and seclusion.
