Excellent service, great quality food. I like that it's a small menu as easier to choose from. The homemade tartar sauce was out of this world. The prices are reasonable for the what you get and the portions arent skimped, they are very decent. The staff were just so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble plus its DOGGY friendly which is super.

If there was ever a hidden gem this is it. As walk over the bridge in the village and look down river you see the parasols of the shipwrights arms. No matter if you are inside surrounded by a great marine styled theme or better in the sun on the terrace. You have to see this place. Even the walk through the village and the drive in down the tiny single track roads is a must. Arguably the best hideaway pub I've ever found

Amazing location but some of the magic has gone.Time marches on and, whilst this is still a great pub, some of the old magic that made the Shipwrights an amazing pub has been gone missing.Maybe just washed away by the August holiday makers but maybe bring back the local fish, the quirky art, the banter, the locals and the laughs.

We only popped in for a very welcome cup of tea, which was beautifully served with a proper tea pot. Extremely welcome after walking the SWCP and finding the village cafe shuts at 3 pm! It's a lovely riverside pub. We will be back.

Wow, couldn't ask for a more stunning location for an evening meal.Everyone was welcoming, this dog and child friendly pub was great.The food was AMAZING! Pizzas were yum, the kids loved them & service was prompt and friendly.

Pop in for a quick drink and some nuts as heard it was very nice area to stop at. IT WAS! The pub is beautifully looked after and if you're lucky you can get a fantastic spot looking over the estuary. Recommend trying the Cornish beer too as they are lovely. Add this to your itinerary as you won't be disappointed. Tip: when you drive down you'll see a car park to the right, use that as beyond that the roads are very tight and more for locals so please be considerate and walk around to the pub. Not that far and a lovely walk.

Went here with the extended family. Stopped for lunch. Staff helpful and polite. Beer was spot-on. My son had a pizza and according to him it was the best pizza he's ever had. Well done Shipwrights Arms . We'll be back also looking forward to booking your accommodation.

Rang up quite late and got a table, really friendly staff, nice atmosphere and a good selection of high quality food. Wine selection was also excellent. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed a relaxing evening. Would 100% go again. Loved it.
