Tranquil Treatments

I had a reike treatment with Paula. Very relaxing and insightful. A must treatment and I highly recommend.

Paula is great, she's been my massage therapist for almost a year now and has always helped me. She has provided great health advice for stretches to aid actress and pains. She has also provided great spiritual guidance towards things that I should think on our continue to work on spiritually. I can highly recommend Paula for any massage, physical therapy or spiritual healing work.

I visited Paula with a painful shoulder condition following a nasty fall down some steps. The injury was about a month old, I was in constant pain and found everyday tasks such as dressing, washing , driving etc were slow and painful. I was taking painkillers continuously to take the edge off. The local minor injuries unit had diagnosed me with a rotator cuff injury and sent me home with a leaflet of exercises and the belief that it could take 6 months to heal and even then I may not regain full use of my left arm. [At the time I couldn't lift it more than a couple of inches without pain.]I was persuaded to visit Paula and in all honesty was very sceptical but the exercises were getting nowhere so as a last resort I made an appointment.Paula was very welcoming and easy to talk to. I lay face down on the bench and and was surprised to find that I the blanket I was lying on was beautifully soft and warm, it was blissful. The massage itself was quite painful at times, but then I had expected it to be, however through the pain I was aware that it was doing me good. Paula offered to 'ease off' but through gritted teeth I declined!At the end of the session I could already feel that my shoulder felt looser and less painful, and that in myself I was less stressed about it. Paula accurately predicted that over the next few days it might get more painful but at then it would get better.It took one session and within 2 weeks I was completely pain free and had regained full movement of my arm. Following the session I was able to stop taking all the painkillers, even at night.I would not have believed this was possible unless I had experienced it for myself .I would have no hesitation in recommending Paula, I would go as far as saying that she gave me my life back.
