We are so pleased we made the decision to choose Emma as our professional photographer to complete our son’s promotional photoshoot.She is fabulous to work with, has a very unique and beautiful talent. Her approach to capturing the perfect image is with great enthusiasm and delight.We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with her, the only difficulty we had was in choosing from so many excellent images!We will definitely be returning to use her skills again, hopefully someday soon!Many thanks Emma.

Emma absolutely captured everything we dreamt of on our wedding day. She was so easy to work with and gave us so much confidence in order to obtain the most original and beautiful photographs for the most perfect of wedding albums.

Omg what can I say?? Thank you so much for being so awesome!We were lucky enough to have Emma photograph our wedding and honestly she did such an amazing job. I've had friends and family members tell me ours are the best wedding photos they've seen. I am usually quite camera shy but Emma made me feel really comfortable and made me feel like she was just another one of our friends taking photos of our day. She did this while also remaining very professional which I can't imagine is an easy balance to strike but she did it! She captured so many images of people smiling with their whole faces and genuinely having a nice time. Absolutely captured our day and the characters of our guests in a way that really suited us down to the ground. We felt at ease with Emma at Shotgun Weddings from the moment we met her. She was interested in what we wanted and really listened. We were impressed with the photos she showed us from her previous work.Before the day itself she went through the detail of what we wanted as well as giving advice on what would work, group shots and timing. We felt completely reassured in advance that everything would go to plan - so one thing less to worry about - which is quite important with all the other preparation that is going on.On our Wedding Day, Emma arrived on time and everything went really smoothly. We didn't notice she was there as she took shots before and during the ceremony and during the reception. She captured lots of natural looking shots throughout the day, showing our guests having fun and laughing. These are brilliant reminders of a fantastic day. Many of our guests have remarked how professional and fun she was.She gave us plenty of time after the ceremony before taking the group shots, which were done quickly and efficiently whilst still being lots of fun. After the group shots the photos she took of us as a couple around the hotel grounds were imaginative and such a laugh.The photos were all great and the album was put together brilliantly. We found Shotgun Weddings because we were looking for a photographer who had managed some good shots in Proud Cabaret - beautiful,but with poor lighting. When I found Emma's online portfolio, I was blown away - by the aesthetic, quirkiness, humour, composition and colour.The engagement shoot was good fun and an opportunity to talk about what we wanted, and to relax in front of the camera.On the wedding day itself, Emma had a great eye for details - both in capturing moments, interesting compositions and the little minutiae we had spent time perfecting in the weeks before the wedding.We had as much consultation as we needed and the end results were fantastic.We love our wedding album and would highly recommend Emma, especially if you want something different /creative.
