Awful haircut. Way too short (I told her not too short) and awful fringe. My hair was very long before. Have to go to another hairdresser to correct it.

So pleased with the cut I got today at Modern Barbers by Shelley! I came in with a very messy long haircut not dissimilar to that of Shaggy from Scooby Doo and came out looking professional.I asked for shorter back and sides whilst keeping length on top, I showed a photo and Shelley went to work from there giving me the exact cut I asked for. Halfway through I changed my mind and asked for a fade and at this point Shelley could have just gone for it, but instead took time to explain that with the length on top this might look a bit off and that a blend may work far better. By the end of the cut I am so grateful she made this suggestion as the haircut looks perfect and is easy to style in the way I want. (Had I gone for the fade I may have ended up looking like a peaky blinder, but instead now I have a more natural look that definitely fits my style.)This place was recommended to me by a friend and am very glad I took their advice! Very friendly, and absolutely stunned by the value price of £6.50 for a gents cut. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick haircut that offers options.

Hair dresser today didn't listen to a word I'd asked for, second time she's cut my hair never again, will sit and wait for another lady to cut it. Just had to get my neighbour to even the sides up. Every other stylist are brilliant.

I would highly recommend going here if you are after a friendly and speedy cut. It is a sit and wait style Barbers but you're not normally waiting long. It has the best price in town.

My boyfriend went into modern barbers and it was absolutely disgusting asked for a skin fade and completely ruined his hair and once he politely said it wasn’t good and if they could try and fix it they then told him that he would have to repay again for it to be fixed even though it was there fault. Would personally never go there again and was not with the money or poor service.
