Posh Nails

Ive just moved to Huddersfield as a student and thought I’d try this salon. I got an acrylic set with gel painted swirls. Gel paint was rushed and the results were messy, I asked for this to be redone however the redo was also rushed and I ended up with the same result. The tips and acrylic was place wonky and when I asked for this to be corrected I was told they were wonky because of the shape of my fingers, none of my past nail sets have been wonky. Not very careful with the drill file either. On a positive note their salon was very clean and beautiful but I won’t be returning to this salon.

Highly recommend!I’ve been searching for a place in Huddersfield with a high level of talent and service and Posh didn’t disappoint!Staff were welcoming and my nails look fabulous! Just have a look.

awful service. i went in today for a set of acrylics i walked in told them what i’d like and the man didn’t even look at me. he chose the colour of my powder which i was not happy about because it didn’t go with the colour of the nails i had in mind, i told him the length i would like and they kept getting shorter and shorter, i politely asked if he could do my nails any longer and i did not like the shape or colour of my nails i asked for almond and some were wonky and was oval. when i asked him to remove them he didn’t say anything to me he just stared at me saying not one word, i sed it again because i didn’t know if he heard me and he stormed off grabbed the acetone and started talking about me infront of my face to another member of staff, he aggressively grabbed my hands and put them in the bowl, honestly ruined my day need some better staff because i am not one to complain i work in hospitality myself

Had my nails done three times here now. Service is always amazing prices are very reasonable and the nails last long. The picture of the red ombré set is taken after more than a month and one infill session. Would always recommend

Customer service is trashThe old man there always made me feel like I was disturbing him when I asked for things to be done differently.He doesn’t smile at all,making me feel uncomfortable.He’d be very annoyed when you moved my hands in a comfortable position for yourself. They’ll change without letting you know.Everything is rushed and he doesn’t ask if you’re happy with what he’s doing .This isn’t the first time.I don’t think I’ll be going back!!!!

Best place for nails and pedicures in Huddersfield!! Staff are so friendly and offered us cold bottles of water. Pedicure was amazing, the best French tips!

I had a okay experience when getting my nails done but just a few things that were a bit offI asked for medium nails and ended up with super short because the lady kept cutting it down while measuring each nail then another lady came and started cutting more.I showed a reference picture which I always do and not once was it asked to be seen again. The nails are nice but your customer service needs some work and please give customers the chance to chose the colours not you choose it for them - same with the shape. I wanted exactly like the picture tapered square and ended up with short stubby nails.

Really great nail salon, the staff we're very lovely and really gentle when working with your nails, me and my friend both had reference pictures, we weren't too fussed about accuracy as long as it was still good. But they did an amazing job so close to the pictures we are super happy with how they came out. They did the design freehand and they are so clean. The chairs were super comfortable and the decor is so pretty. The pricing was wonderful and I would definitely go again ❤

Not happy with my nails. It took 2 hours and 3 different staff members to get a set of acrylics done. The staff are extremely rough with your hands and huff and complain when your not “relaxed” enough for their liking. The nails are not filed properly and have random beads of colour within them that haven’t been brushed properly. The second man that came to do them went out for a smoke halfway through and didn’t wash his hands when he came back in. The lady that ended up finishing mine drilled them off again and filed them again (but still not properly). The man then came back over after she was finished with mine and said “did she manage to sort them now” as if he knew that he had made a mistake. Would not recommend this salon.
