Friendly staff, just what you need and it closes at 5.30 instead of 5 which made the difference for us!

Came to frinton for the day and was exploring the different cafe options on where to eat, the old lady who I presume owns the cafe was very unwelcoming when I waited for a while at the front door to see if she would come over to ask if we wanted a seat, I decided we used the toilet first in which she followed us in harassing us asking if we was customers in which I said to her we want to explored the menu thank you. once we came out I asked the older lady to see what breakfast they do she rudely responded look at the wall, we then saw that they didn’t do breakfast options or had much option in which we was looking for so I just said thank you, She was then very abrupt and rude and she then shouted for us to leave! Very rude. The cafe was empty which also concerned me. So unwelcoming and very poor manners! Be nice to people and they will be nice to you. You should not be in the customer service industry.

Stopped for a cuppa while in Frinton. The staff were friendly, drinks were great and the seating was fab - SO much better for my disability than typical folding or wooden cafe style chairs. They have 4 large comfy sofas to sit on and relax while out with friends. We’ll be back!

The most awful experience for my family and I I have never come across such awful treatment of clients especially on a day like today. The older lady had zero customer services skills and her treatments towards animals was not acceptable. Please avoid at all costs there are some other beautiful cafe along the front.

Visited frinton today with our 2 small dogs all the cafes were very busy the we came across cafe 14 it was empty now I know why. The young girl who served us was very nice we ordered 2 sandwiches and drinks as that’s all they serve them sat at the back of the cafe and waited , it’s very dirty and run down cobwebs everywhere dirty floor sofas not up to much bus as we thought it was dog friendly excepted the state of it. The sandwiches and drinks came all looked nice but then a very rude lady we presume was the owner came over and asked us to remove our small dog from her tatty sofa I apologised and put the dog on the floor, she then said if the dogs wanted to have a drink they had to go out side and told me I was a irresponsible dog owner I asked her not to be rude she then started to be aggressive so we just paid and left without having our food or drink this is definitely not dog or human friendly

Friendly service. Rosie (the owner) makes the effort to welcome all customers. Good drinks and food. Settle the bill on leaving, which I like. Friendly customers so you won't be on you own for long. Dog friendly with treats. I usually drop by about twice each week and enjoy every minute.

I came here because it was dog friendly, I didn't consider that it wouldn't be child friendly, we were constantly told off by a lady (I assumed she was the owner) because my toddler wouldn't sit still, we were made to feel so uncomfortable we didn't even stay to finish our drinks!

The young staff were very sweet, polite and professional and deserve 4/5 stars. However, I wouldn’t describe the woman who I assume is the owner as being dog-friendly or even people-friendly as she was unwelcoming and really quite rude. The rear of the cafe is run down and shambolic so it was not only disappointing but also rather pricy. It’s a shame because it could, and ought to be, a lot better but based on my experience I’d have to recommend you go elsewhere.

A lovely chilled cafe with no gimmicks. Friendly owners and tasty, fair priced, food. Dogs welcome which is perfect for dog lovers or owners.
