I'm a customer of over 20 years now. Hands down the best Indian food around. Never had a bad meal. Their portion sizes nor the recipes haven't changed the whole time I've been coming here! A lot of local takeaways have cut corners and reduced their portions or bought in cheap meat. Not the Ganges. I'll keep coming back for quality food. When I lived in Bangor, still drove here. Now I'm Donaghadee, I still drive here. The only time I don't come here for Indian food is if I haven't a lot of time and head on to my number 2. Keep doing what you're doing lads!!

Best Indian food in Newtownards. You must go to the restaurant to get the curry straight from the wok BYO. Take away is good too for a night in the house.

Added color, bad smelling food, probably used oil, and unbalanced taste was not a total surprise. Plus the service is far from courteous. Even if it is wrong order, how can food smell bad and have added color?Thank you for proving me point that your service is just as pathetic as your food prep.

We have been a customer for over 20 years. Always found the food fantastic and service brilliant. We moved house a few years but I will still drive the 20 miles for a carry out. Food was excellent tonight. Thank you.David Armstrong.

Tandoori chicken main - tasteless and bland compared to other Indians I have had. Served with salad which is just a bag of lettuce. Other places include tomatoes, cucumbers and lemon. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

Definately the best Nan bread I’ve ever eaten!! Waitress so nice! Food was beaut! Maybe not the fanciest place but food was delicious!

Sat in here recently, food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.It’s been said before and it’ll be said again, the naan bread is the business!Alcohol isn’t sold here but bring something with you just.

Always nice food and great staff. BYO seven days a week which keeps cost of dining out lower. Not very busy but will hopefully pick up.

You probably have not been here to sit in for years but it's open again and BYO, possibly the best nan bread ever and the food was great. Also 20% off the main menu for March and an early bird menu Sunday to Friday £14.95 worth a try.

Going here for regularly for 20 years. Has got progressively poorer in last couple of years...used to be the best Indian by far....now madras tastless and watery...cut back on chicken, poppadoms and dips but on the flip side have hiked the prices on a takeaway meal....sad to say but disgusting....no more chances in the hope that the food will return to the previous high standard..Will not be back...
