The Happy Pheasant Caravan Park and Campsite Malpas

This is an excellent, very peacefull and relaxing site with reasonable size pitches which are fully serviced (with the option of pay as you go or inclusive electricity). There are 17 pitches but many of them are seasonal and while we were there only a handful occupied. The pitch we had was slightly sloping across. They are laid out in a row so nobody is overlooking you and there are planters between the pitches and other nice touches around the site giving it a cared for feel. There is a very large field set aside for dog exercise (though I noticed most people for some reason just took their dogs on the cut grass area in front of the vans!) and there is a bridleway at the gate too. Two small toilet cubicles but no showers - which isn't a problem on a serviced pitch if you have your own facilities. I was a bit confused by reviews I had read regarding the entry/ exit barrier - this is a height restricting barrier so with a caravan it needs to be opened on arrival and departure but not in between as your car will fit under it so you can come and go as you please. If you need the barrier to be opened a quick call to Anita and its opened in a min or 2. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Fully recommend this site.

A beautiful adult only campsite. We had a lovely warm welcome from Anita who showed us to our pitch. The pitches are perfect, hardstanding, with grass, your own water tap, grey waste and electric. It's very dog friendly, with a huge exercise field, plenty of space for your dog to have off lead fun. The village is a 20 minute walk away and there's also a short walk right next to the site. The site is spotless Anita is always busy looking after her campers. There's two small toilets that are spotless. Unfortunately there are no showers, this didn't cause an issue with us as we stayed for a long weekend but it would put us off staying for longer, however the site and exception service still deserves 5 stars. We will definitely go back for a short stay and we highly recommend for anyone wanting a quite relaxing break with shops and pubs nearby.

Absolutely beautiful site. Spotlessly clean and so peaceful. The biggest dog walking field we’ve ever seen. Anita is helpful, kind and approachable. Won’t be long u til we will be rebooking!

A fabulous peaceful adult only campsite, with beautifully manicured lawns and pitch areas.Dog friendly with a fantastic large secure dog walking field.Also in a great location, within easy walking distance into Malpas - where there are pubs, coffee shop and a convenience store.We had a lovely welcome from Anita and we'll definitely be returning.

What an absolutely stunning park. Anita and Jez are such a lovely helpful couple, they helped us put our van on our pitch because the motor mover decided to die on us, gave us some very helpful local places to visit, eat and drink. The most helpful of all, was getting a text this morning advising of the floods the overnight rain had caused and that roads were possibly being closed, I've never been to a site that has done that, they normally don't care. I would 1000% recommend this park to everyone.

We chose this site because we want somewhere quiet and peaceful to relax after a hectic few weeks. We had a lovely welcome where we were given info about local walks etc. Our pitch was great, and just up the little hill in the field behind, there were great views. The toilets were sparkly clean and the site very well maintained. We had a couple of walks into Malpas which wasn't far. We'll definitely be back again.

Wow, what a beautiful little hidden gem in the middle of the Cheshire countryside. Walking distance to Malpas great shops and pubs. Anita and jez go above and beyond to help make your stay enjoyable. Seasonal make tourers so welcome and will do anything to help. So peaceful and tranquil and everyone respects each other. Brilliant for walking the dog. Although no showers (toilets are immaculate) in no way does this spoil the experience. BEST SITE WE HAVE EVER BEEN ON BY FAR.
