Winton Halls - Student Accommodation in Bournemouth

My son stayed here for a year whilst at Uni. Affordable accommodation with the bills included making budgeting easy. Cleaned professionally before move in and easy process from start to finish. Nice option for students to stay on during the summer months. Handy laundry and close to shops, pubs and University. ASN operate a well run building with lots of security.

The location is good - 15 to 20 mins walk to uni but you need to get a bus to get to town. There are loads of shops on Wimborne Road, which is very convenient. Having in mind that it’s the most affordable student accommodation offered by AUB, you can’t judge the interior too much, everything was clean and working when I moved in and my room was very spacious, with a personal closet as well. There is no 24h reception but ASN Capital are great with queries and resolving most problems, also they keep the parcels for you. The walls are not soundproof for sure and the people in the smoking area can get really loud sometimes. Fire alarms are something really annoying in every student accommodation and this is no exception. Overall I had a great year there, but it really depends on who your flatmates are.
