We wanted to update our solid but old fashioned oak kitchen and decided to have the cabinets painted. Ian did a brilliant job and we are delighted with the results. Our work tops, floor and appliances were all protected and the clean dust free sanding did what it said on the tin. As a bonus, Ian and Claire are lovely people and it was a pleasure to have them work in our home.

We used IAR to paint ageing oak kitchen units in a navy blue colour as part of a full refurb. We are delighted with the results and the professional standard of the work means that the grain in the wood is still clear to see. Our kitchen has been totally transformed at a fraction of the cost of buying a new one. Many thanks to Ian and Claire. We would definitely recommend IAR

Fantastic service! Ian did an excellent job of painting my kitchen cabinets. He worked in a clean & tidy manner & kept to timescales set. His work is fantastic & the finished product is amazing. It looks like a new kitchen but at a fraction of the cost. Would definitely recommend IAR Specialist Decorating!

Our existing kitchen units were still in good condition but the colour was looking dated.We contacted Ian who promptly responded and visited to give us advice on painting options.Ian carried out the work and we were delighted with the finished article.The paintwork was immaculate and all work was carried out in expected timescales.It was a pleasure to have Ian around and he ensured there was no mess during the work.We were very happy throughout and can highly recommend his services.

The saying ‘you get what pay for’ couldn’t be more accurate. Having a professional in may cost a little more than an amateur but wow it was money well spent. My kitchen looks like it is brand new and you would not know it has been painted.Ian degreased it, cleaned it, primed it and applied 2/3 coats which is labour intensive but the result is then incredible. Ian preps the work area and then clears up after.You will not regret using Ian. Best in class! honestly he is one of the nicest workmen I've met!!
