Amazing food, so much flavour and lovely staff. Really enjoyed our time here!!!!!! The naan bread, the samosas and the prawn curry are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

URY is the only authentic Indian cuisine restaurant in Newcastle (besides my Delhi) and it is NOT bangladeshi/ pakistani like most other restaurants here which claim to be “Indian” and i can tell the difference being an indian, always homesick for authentic homemade food.The staff is exceptionally friendly and service oriented . The restaurant manager Rukman is empathic and a thorough professional.Go in once and see for yourself!

Although the food menu isn't as extensive as other desi restaurants in the area, you will still be spoiled for choice as all the items are presented masterfully. Absolutely in love with the black chicken and all their roti options.Service was excellent as well. We had a baby that decided not to be cooperative that night, and they kindly offered us a table in another room that was more spacious and allowed the baby to roam around and not disturb the other guests in the restaurant.Although it's an older restaurant and the decor is not as glitzy as its neighbours, don't sleep on their offerings as it's got great food at a fair price.

The best Sri Lankan cuisine in Newcastle, with a peaceful atmosphere, provides an extra thrill. We ordered chicken Koththu and Chicken biryani, and they were delicious with authentic Sri Lankan spices. Rukman is a very professional guy who provides excellent customer service. Highly recommended !

We arranged (a small, 40invitees ) 50th birthdays party yesterday!The whole experience was amazing starting from planning to the execution on the day!Rukman, the manager from Supasatra was very engaged and responsive whilst planning and on the day. Food was mainly vegetarian ( other than the starter chicken tikka dish ) which was delicious!They created a lovely ambience and attending staff were very pleasant.Highly recommended for special occasion small party for upto 40 invitees!Well done all staff!

Fantastic service, great presentation, very good food. My kingfish curry had a little bit too much salt though but it's personal preferences I suppose

We went to Ury’s for an early Valentine’s dinner accompanied by our infant. Though we’ve been regulars to this place, this was our first time since the new management took over. We were very impressed by the staff and the new menu. The V day seat decor was lovely. Many new additions to the menu. The food is authentic as usual but the presentation has improved manifold these days. The staff were lovely and so considerate that they even tiptoed around our table after our baby fell asleep so as not to wake her up as they served our food. The owner himself checked up on us to make sure everything was fine. Needless to say we’ll surely be visiting soon again

The best Sri Lankan cuisine in Newcastle. A must go restaurant if you are craving for real Sri Lankan taste.I would rate the chicken koththu 10/10.The Sri Lankan lemonade was also wonderful.Very friendly service.Clean and calm atmosphere. Loved the background music.Truely felt that Im in Sri Lanka for a moment.Keep it up!

Excellent food, best curry I've had in a while. Staff and service was excellent. A little quiet when we went but started getting busier as we left. Definitely recommend.
