It is always a real pleasure to visit the store and they always go above and beyond to help you find the right fish for your aquarium. So it was probably not the best time to visit as the staff were very busy sending out what looked like a big order and were sorting the tanks for a delivery.So there was not a massive variety of fish available.I brought a few fish, and unfortunately, one died in the way back, I messaged the shop, and they were great and sorted everything out for me.I would say my only real negative I could say was I felt it was very expensive and some fish were overpriced to what I could get locally, but it was still worth a visit.

Visited for the first time today. Absolutely loved it, so many fish to see, reasonable prices, lovely clean tanks. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Today 25th May 2022 I have added 4 videos from my purchase that I got back in December 2021. Let me say, it has been a brilliant choice and worth every £ there's no price for happiness. A big thanks to all at Pier Aquatics.I was pleasley surprised to find this great convenient shopping experience. Even a non lover of Fish Aquariums will love Pier Aquatics. Amazing place and great staff. I popped in to look for some bog wood after finding it on google and having no idea what I was walking into, wow I was blown away. The place is huge and the biggest selection of fish I have ever seen I ended up just wondering around for an hour looking at all the fish. Unfortunately the bog wood on the shelf wasn’t suitable, I spotted a perfect piece in one of the tanks and the staff were kind enough to get it out for me. I keep mbuna and I was so excited to see a big range as I usually struggle locating these in stock. I wasn’t on the look out for fish that day but I will be going back for a new group in the new year. Amazing place and highly recommend

Probably the best aquatics shops in the northwest, and one of the best in the country. Massive selection of wild caught and captive bred fish - anytime I find myself in Wigan, I spend an hour just wandering around and looking.Prices are reasonable and competitive, covering the range from a couple of quid to hundreds, depending on species.

Very helpful friendly staff and every fish you could dream of. All tanks very clean, all stock healthy. No complaints at all. Very warm so dress lightly If you visit or you'll be sweltering. The fish I bought are very healthy, well bred and happy and have already adapted well to their new tank, I will definitely be visiting again for more fish and plants.
