Good food, good friendly service, it wasn't too busy on the Sunday afternoon we visited. We tried a selection of sliders (mini versions of their burgers) shared between 2 - all were amazing!!! I especially liked their chicken sliders, perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Chips are fluffy and almost tastes buttery inside. 1 star off for the kids sausage and chips meal - sausage good quality but very salty, and the beans had rather too much herbs that it tasted bitter. Would definitely come here again for the burgers.

This is a lovely, hidden gem just off Byker bank. The food we had was excellent (although the photos don't really do it justice) and the beer choice was off the scale with samples available on request.Atmosphere was amazing, noisy but not so loud you couldn't talk. Tables and chairs were 'rustic' but comfortable and the artwork was 'local' and available to purchase.Staff were friendly and very personable, nothing was a chore for them, dispute how busy the place was.Overall, a very nice place for a meal with friends at reasonably affordable prices. Highly recommended!

We were introduced to this wonderful restaurant as part of a foodie walking tour today. It is A-maz-ing!! Gorgeous quirky interior, plenty of seating, inside and outside. Lovely locally brewed IPA and Imperial stout. Great menu with local produce. We will be back!

Cold rainy horrible day went early only a few in. Had sirloin steak medium rare with peppercorn sauce. Excellent. Then sticky toffee pud. Excellent. Plus 3 pints of hit the North. Also Excellent. Thanks brinkburn brewery people

Lovely for a drink on an evening or weekend, but the food we got served today was literally rotten. The avocado was black and came with big chunks of avocado skin in it. Thankfully we got a refund but we’ll be avoiding for food in the future.

It was too loud for us. The food offering, although extensive didn't offer a fish or real cheese dish. Even the cheesecake wasn't real cheese. Bar staff were really nice. But they need to keep untappd up to date and stop people blocking the bar.

Come to try a Craft lager which I had a sour one and was not disappointed. Also let dogs in which is a bonus. Have a very nice food menu which I will be coming back to try. I came by back couple weeks later to try the food and was not disappointed. The beef and ale pie was lovely

It's up to you. Do you want a big open airy space to soak in the vibrant yet not noisy atmosphere of a warehouse sized pub, or do you lean toward a more snug cocoon of a place that seats around 30 people? Couple that with a great range of Ales and all the usual other keg and spirit options, and this is what I would call a well-rounded pub

Great food, menu, and excellent choice of drinks. Could only fault the food for serving boiled potatoes rather than crispy roast potatoes with our Sunday Lunch.Table service could be better. We were expecting to be asked if we wanted desert but no one came. By the time we managed to order some we were close to the end of our booking slot and were shooed off the table just as we finished the last bite! Perhaps more service staff needed or more effective management to make a slot-based booking system work effectively for customers.
