I ordered a Care Package for my son and daughter-in-law as a little treat. I emailed Robert asking if he could deliver and if I could pay over the phone as I live a couple of hours away from Oxford. Robert phoned me almost immediately. He was really friendly and incredibly helpful. He delivered the package the following day, at exactly the time we had agreed. The bread was still warm when he gave it to my son!They were delighted with their gift and particularly loved the sour dough bread - which I was informed was delicious.When lockdown is over and I can travel to see my son I will definitely be making a trip to the Sourdough Bakery and sampling some of Robert's lovely produce myself! Thank you Robert for your exceptional customer service, and delicious products, which were great value for money.I can highly recommend this wonderful business.

I wanted to get back to you with our gratitude for the wonderful package you so thoughtfully put together for our neighbour's Birthday.He was touched at receiving this unusual gift along with the lovely personalized card (handmade by your wife). He reported back that both the Dulce de Leche cake and the sourdough loaf were delicious. My daughter loved the tomato and garlic Focaccia too. She says it is one of the best she has tasted and that it reminded her of very beautiful days spent in Chiaveri in Italy, where they are known for their excellent Foccacia.Thank you so very much for taking the time out to talk to me about your background, the work you have done and do, the beautiful breads/cakes you make and offer to the global and local community. Very touched by your humbleness, your altruism, your warmth and generosity. Thank you for agreeing to make the loaf of sourdough bread, the focaccia and the cake for my neighbour's Birthday,all at such short notice too and for an incredibly reasonable price too.We will definitely be recommending your marvellous labours of Love to friends and family. We will be back for more.

You can see his love for making bread in the way he made his bakery and handles the bread. This touch of uniqueness makes me a faithful customer.

Beautifully made and presented breads and bakes. A real treat and a genuine artisan style small business. Invaluable during the pandemic. Only wish there was also a cafe or coffee shop so one could linger and enjoy the aromas of baking as well.

The baking is delicious, but Robert also goes the extra mile to give something special! My mum sent me a care package through him during lockdown for my birthday and Robert made a personalised Happy Birthday note on top of the cake. Everything was beautiful and delicious.

If anyone deserves the title master baker it is Robert. His authentic sourdough bread is the real deal: full of flavour, texture and aroma. If you ever get a chance to speak to him about his baking you will see he is a scientist, artist and alchemist all in one - this is a real passion for him and you can see the love and skill manifested in the end product.

This is by far the best bread I have bought in Oxford. You can see Robert has put a lot of effort into coming up with a delicious recipe! Speaking of which, Robert goes beyond and above when it comes to customer service. This has now become my go to place for fresh, delicious AND affordable bread. His brownies were to die for too! I can't recommend him enough :)

The bread I get from here is absolutely delicious. Is extremely fresh and tastes amazing, can’t fault it. Robert who bakes the bread is a great guy, always happy and it shows in his work. I would highly recommend the wholemeal sourdough and tomato focaccia.
