The Kayak Coach
I did the Explore Award with Adrian this week and had a really fantastic day despite the slightly windy weather. Adrian is a brilliant, insightful and entertaining instructor and at the end of the day I felt much more confident with my paddling. Very highly recommended!

Good family fun on the river. There is a choice of kayaks and canoes of various sizes. Book in advance as they are often busy and it is a bit in the sticks, so this will avoid any disappointment if you get there and you don't get your place. Access is down a tight lane, but it is there.

Fantastic! Had an amazing private tour of the river Ouse with Adrian. His relaxed welcome and patience instantly put us at ease. Really enjoyed the beautiful changing countryside and also the great conversation along the way. For two beginners we felt very at ease and in good hands. Peter and Julia Jones.

Had a fabulous morning kayaking up the river Ouse and back in Lewes. Adrian was very patient with us all and good fun. Can’t recommend enough! Will be back!

Today was our first time Kayaking. We did the river Arun trip. Adrian was amazing at calming our nerves and had complete confidence in us, which in turn gave us confidence in ourselves. It was a great day even with the rain! We are definitely going to book again!

An absolutely brilliant day.Adrian is totally focussed on making sure you get what you want from your day. He’s a fantastic teacher and a lovely guy. You will have a lot of fun and learn loads.I’ve done a lot of courses over 50 years! Skiing, sailing, climbing, outdoor skills etc…The Kayak Coach is one of the very best I have experienced.It wasn’t just kayaking skills…Adrian can share years of knowledge around planning trips, safety etc. I feel thoroughly prepared to go adventuring.

My son and I had a fantastic experience kayaking with The Kayak Coach; the countryside is so, so peaceful, and paddling along the river is just lovely. Adrian made us feel very safe and even if you're a complete beginner, and a bit wobbly on boats (like me), he will make sure you are OK.

First time kayaking, took part in the River Ouse trip with my 15 year old son. Had a fantastic time! Adrian was very welcoming and friendly, putting us all at ease. A beautiful setting, and a great way to spend a morning. Very highly recommended.
