OFNL is a con, trapping customers into a seemingly price fixed system now commonly no faster than standard connections. In my case actually slower than the possible maximum on the older “BT” lines. Plus a lot more expensive, my current 120mbs connection is the same price as BT’s 500mb connection available 300 yards up the road.Sadly like most ofnl customers we’re not here by choice our developer did the deal with them just before we moved and and we’re now stuck until we move.

Really bad service, can only pick from a very limited choice of suppliers, Which are more expensive then providers NOT on the OpenFibre Network. After contacting them i was told i had 17 different networks to choose from, compared to the 90 different suppliers if not on OFNL network. They also told me when i bought my house that i would be able to change to a more competitive network after a year.5 years later and still don’t have anything that compares financially to vodafone, Jurassic fibre, bt,or any of the other big suppliers.I planned on staying in my house for the foreseeable. But if i would of know in 2022 this would be the case i would of bought a house somewhere else.Beware the OFNL on a new house building site.

Please avoid this company if you can. In all my years I have never encountered such incompetence. On moving into a new apartment we found it had a faulty tv/satellite connection for which OFNL was responsible. Now, 6 months later, after 6 engineer visits( different individual every time) , 6 mornings waiting in for each visit and numerous lengthy phone calls where I had to explain everything from the start every time, ( and repeatedly being left on hold) we still dont know if its fixed properly.I truly understand what banging your head against a brick wall means.

While we had a problem that meant we couldn’t have internet for 10 days in our new home, having reported the issue we booked an appointment that the team then were able to proactively move forward. We were given good updates leading up to and on the day of the appointment. The team on the phone were very helpful. The engineer, Mark, turned up as expected, fixed the issue and was friendly and professional throughout. To resolve a frustrating problem, we had a good experience to get the issue fixed. Hopefully lessons learnt are taken away as our issue seems to happen a lot in new homes.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. Our house was sold to us as being on the open reach network. Turns out this was a lie and were on OFNL. A second rate provider, to whom we must pay twice what we'd have to pay BT for the same speed. They've been assuring me 1gbps is coming, but God only knows how much these clowns will charge for it . Currently their fttp tops out at 360mbps. My 5g is faster and 1/3 the price.

Just moved onto a new estate - Coopers Grange, Bishops Stortford and OFNL run a service here that's not fit for purpose. Internet drops out virtually every night, the estate has just had no TV or satellite for 24hrs. Recorded messages say they are trying to fix it, staff on the phone are not aware of a problem. They have no competion, they have the estate by the short and curlies. If you work from home and internet is really important, don't move here!I'm going to put this outfit forward as a suggestion for new staff uniforms............

Please, be aware and avoid this service. They demand to pay a 30£ just for a post code changing (I'm first time in the UK and made mistake in my post code. I'm working with them via Rocket Fibre internet).

This company makes shady exclusive contracts with property developers of new builds trapping customers into crumbling service no more than 300 Mbit and ludicrous prices. This company needs to be investigated by authorities. It doesn't even handle a candle next to hyperoptic and the rest of the providers caught up ever since. Network incident every month.

Worst service ever!!! These guys just take their customers for granted. Since they control the infrastructure, they just take their customers for granted; knowing that we can't move our clientele elsewhere. I have had no connection for a fortnight now. They promised to send an engineer with a 14 days wait. As that date approaches, you just get an email notifying you that the date has been pushed back. And there is basically nothing you can do about it as they manage the actual infrastructure delivering connection to your house. A nonchalant customer service with a so called fibre network that manages to drop connection almost every evening. I upgraded to fibre just to get worse service than before. An absolute joke!

Lost for words really. Being trapped in a new home by a overpriced and under performing service. My old landline service through BT was better and more reliable. 2023 and this kind of thing should not be happening.
