We were visiting the area and stopped off for Sunday lunch. It was delicious we were impressed by the quality of the food and it was really great value.the staff were friendly & helpful and we had a lovely chat with the new head chef. Keep up the great work

Superb location, in the middle of the pretty, clean, historic market town of Evesham. The hotel is 400 years old, so it's a bit higgledy piggedly, but that just adds to the 'olde worlde' experience. Draught beers in the bar, very good. Staff magnificent. Highly recommended.

My wife and i booked for lunch today 22/1/23.We were shown to our table even though we were early.I had the lamb, the best i have ever had. The roast potatoes were excellent. The cauliflower cheese the best i have ever tasted.My wife had the beef again the best ever.The cheesecake was excellent tooThe staff were the best i have ever encounteredThis will now be our local best in EveshamGreat warm welcombe by the staff.Although busy staff had time to talk to usWill be back

Great Sunday roast here and dog friendly.Edit: Nov 2023 - after two recent visits here it's fair to say the quality of the food has fallen dramatically. Would not recommend currently.

Thought we would give it a try to support new businessBooked for an evening meal weeks before,when we got there told it was only Christmas menu ,seating was terrible there was a draft in one seat .,Food arrived bland Turkey with very cold potatoes and not much veg and very watery gravy .pudding lemon roulade served with still frozen fruit .Wine served in beer glasses and brandy in a whisky glassBill was all wrong they had added 2 more bottles of wine on itWaited over half hour for them to come and receive paymentYoung lady serving meal was very efficientBut we will not be back

Recently reopened under new management so thought I'd give it a try. Very disappointing... no atmosphere, very poor hospitality and service. Food was 'ok' but not what I would have expected based on how it was before.Definitely will not return or recommend

Went here for Sunday lunch and had the pork belly. Absolutely amazing! Meat was succulent, roasts were lovely, veg was really tasty and the gravy was divine.Lovely staff and atmosphere.Highly recommend! Good price tooWe didn’t stay here overnight but I didn’t want to bring down the rating!

A big thank you to all the staff at The Royal Oak. Today we had one of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had at a pub/restaurant, Big shout out to the chef. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Callum and his team were very welcoming and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Will most definitely be back,
