Charlie's Chiropractic Care

When I first started seeing Charlie two and a half years ago, I had long-standing lower back problems which were affecting my mobility. After about six months of regular treatment I was able to walk and exercise without discomfort. Regular adjustments kept me well until lockdown. Now we’re working to get that mobility back again. I know I can trust Charlie to get me there. She is compassionate, professional, straight-talking when it’s needed, positive, encouraging and above all, I believe, a gifted healer. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you Charlie.

Three weeks ago I woke up in agony after another bout of a recurring neck/shoulder pain which I have been experiencing over the last few years. That day I was hurting more than usual and not able to move my neck much at all so decided to give chiropractic a go. I searched online and luckily it was Charlie I found. She responded so quickly and came to see me the same day. Already after the first treatment I felt miles better - I could move and function and the pain was much more tolerable. She has been to see me three times in total so far, once a week, and I already feel great! No pain at all, my range of motion has improved and I feel like I stand taller and straighter. She is now also helping my husband with his jaw pain. Nothing but great things to say and highest recommendation for the lovely Charlie. Other than being totally brilliant at what she does, she is also warm, encouraging and very understanding.

Charlie was recommended to me by a relative a few weeks ago and I cannot thank her enough. Not only did Charlie book me in the same day that I first contacted her, but after hearing about my symptoms and prior diagnoses, Charlie took great care of me and ensured to talk me through all of the adjustments, explaining them in easy to understand terms. Her dedication goes beyond the treatment, with Charlie checking in on me regularly after sessions. She has a professional, yet calming manner and is very thorough in her treatment and assessments. In only a few sessions, the difference that Charlie’s chiropractic care has made is immeasurable!Not only has Charlie made me feel much more comfortable in such a short amount of time, but her breadth of knowledge and experience with people (and animals) struggling with a number of different ailments and conditions is something I have never experienced in a chiropractor. Having struggled with severe neck, back, hip and shoulder pain, misalignment and stiffness for years, (dramatically worsened by a road accident a few years ago), as well as a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia, CFS and very poor sleep, I have seen multiple chiropractors over the years, but have never been treated by someone with such a fantastic approach. With such a long list of problems, it would have been easy for Charlie to run for the hills or at least ignore some of the symptoms I was sharing with her, yet she has never once disregarded anything I have had to say, is a very attentive listener (both to me and the way my body is responding to treatment) and has handled my care wonderfully.Her approach is not heavy-handed or violent in any way (a massive bonus for someone struggling with fibromyalgia as it can be very daunting allowing someone to make adjustments, fearing flare ups or them being too gentle and not having a great enough impact), and I can honestly say that I felt and could see visible, clear differences after only one session.I cannot recommend Charlie highly enough, thank you so much for all of your help so far!

Charlie is amazing, so thorough and knowledgeable. She has helped improve my aches, pains and posture. I can’t recommend her enough for all your chiropractic needs.

I'm very fussy about who treats my horse, and after having vets, another vet chiro, acupuncture, laser therapy and sports massage on him, they all gave only short term relief or told me to do more pole work (which I was doing religiously for weeks) . Charlie got straight to the issue, and after one treatment the pelvic imbalance he'd been struggling with for 18 months was 90% gone and hasn't come back, and she also found areas that the others had completely missed and her communication is the best from anyone I've seen. It's obvious her training is far more in depth, and I wouldn't think twice about recommending her to anyone.

The changes in my horse are utterly incredible since we met Charlie, she was the first professional to pick up on his weaknesses and truly see what's going on inside his body. She takes the time to watch the horses walk and trot up and back to actually assess the them rather than just a quick treatment, and then re assesses after treatment and if there is anything slightly off still she will take the time to treat again. I've always felt from the start how keen and interested Charlie is in my horse and his performance and always consults with me about when we together feel a next appointment is needed. The changes in my horse are absolutely amazing, and his performance and confidence in himself has just rocketed since he's feeling so good!We can't thank you enough Charlie!!

Charlie came to visit my three horses and she blew me away with her knowledge of chiro on animals and care for their well-being. I have one who is extremely anxious and hates anyone new touching him, she was amazing with him.. took her time to treat him and read all his signs perfectly, I was convinced she wasn’t going to be able to treat him!!She came back for him the following week as he was in such a state and he was like a different pony! I can’t wait to get another video of her treating him in the next few weeks to show the difference and how much they all really needed Charlie’s chiro treatment!Thank you once again, massive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!

Charlie carried out a thorough assessment of my young horse and identified several issues. She discussed them with me and encouraged me to try and observe what she was seeing. Although as a Physio I am trained to assess humans, the anatomy and movement patterns of a horse are very different. She really explained what she was doing in terms of treatment and I could see how effective her manipulation was in the immediate change in the horse’s movement, as although not lame he had not been moving freely and his behaviour had been reflecting this.I was very impressed with Charlie’s palpation and assessment skills, her careful and accurate treatment techniques and in general her holistic approach, looking at multiple joints and dysfunctions that were making up a bigger picture. I would highly recommend Charlie to anyone and look forward to continuing to work with her in the future!

Wow what a difference Charlie has made to my ex racer Floki. So many quirks to list but most have now stopped due to the great work Charlie has done with him. He's a happier horse and I'm enjoyinghaving ahorse with less quirks !!! Highly recommend Charlie
