Newport Village Hall

Hall itself is good but let down by lack of lights in the car park when attending later clubs and groups.

Attended the Newport Farmers Market there. Very nice hall

Great local space!

I have been using Newport Village Hall for 13 years for my Zumba classes. The Hall is well illuminated, the wood floor is ideal for dancing and the stage is well proportionate to teach the dance routines.I had hosted few parties there and always had the support of the Newport Village's administration.Good parking area, well located next to the train station, well equipped kitchen and excellent air ventilation.

Went to the farmers market which is held here each month. The hall looks great, it isn't huge but it would make an ideal venue for a party or craft fair

A perfect place for a decent size symphony orchestra (SWSO) to rehearse.BIG Car Park, right size hall (for up to 60 players); it is away from residences (so we can make a joyful noise when we play the 'right notes in the wrong order' )It also has 'side rooms' so small groups can break out and practise separately (though we've never needed it) and it has a practical size room for the Management Committee to meet prior to rehearsals to settle Society business - which we make quite a lot of use of.Never managed the heating system well up to now - though new management have brought in methods to overcome that problem.

Went for the bingo night on a Thursday, very friendly people , great prizes and lots of laughter . Lovely evening out !
