Russums

This review is solely based on one product, their Le Chef DE20E jacket. There is not enough space here to describe how poorly designed this product is. I will never wear them. Unfortunately because I washed them before trying them on I am unable to return them. I understand this, but due to the curt reply I received from customer services I have just placed another order for chef jackets but with a different company.

Purchased some chef's knives - communication was excellent throughout with extra lengths gone by Russums to deliver them to me early. Pleased with the engraving too. Highly recommend their business.

I made an order for a Christmas gift. Chased it up 10 days later when it hadn't arrived. Was then told that it was out of stock and new stock had been delayed, we were about to get in touch with you, it can be with you for later in January? It was a fair price and if you're not in a hurry and you don't mind chasing them to provide customer service.

The lady on the phone is a star, absolute angel. I placed an order but l was very concerned that l may not receive it because l am traveling abroad and l am studying at the college so it was a very low chance that l could receive it myself. She speeded up the process, sent my order right after our phone call and l am receiving it today. It just happened in one day. I am sending you my best wishes, l hope you get the best of best in this life... You didn't just help me but gave me a great hope and help me see that there are amazing people like you in the world. I will give a call again to thank you and get your name and share it here. Thanks.

A delight to work with. The staff are incredibly friendly and the breadth of products is huge. A company to return to, time and time again.

As a long time chef who has worked in the UK, Holland, Bermuda and Washington DC, I have always found Russums to be professional and I have received my orders in a timely fashion.Whenever I've had questions they seem knowledgeable about the products they sell and answered queries promptly and with courtesy, thank you.

Rude customer service, the woman was absolutely vile on the phone and a disgrace to her profession. They're slow to deliver goods even though college kids are starting courses and the company couldn't care less . They're actually impressed with their diabolical service times that haven't improved in 30 years . They're deluded enough to think they manufacture more goods than the whole of China... Worst company ever. Your reply is a fob off. I called you literally 10 minutes before this review and your staff were vile and of no help what so ever . You even admitted your poor admin skills and the fact you can't be bothered to monitor staff calls . My son's contract phone which is the number you have is in service and working just fine so I don't think you're being very honest here .. It's now been 5 weeks and still no goods I paid for have been received. 3 weeks you're meant to deliver by and are now in breech of contract & your own terms of service !

Russums have been incredible to deal with. I ordered a popular chef's knife in March 2020. Due to a manufacturing defect the knife sadly snapped. I got in touch with Russums and they immediately set out to try and assist me. I've been dealing with Sue who has been fantastic. After sending pictures to Sue who sent them to the manufacturer she called me to sort out either a replacement or a credit. I went for the replacement as I love the knife and it wasn't anyone's fault that it broke. Within two days the item arrived. Fantastic service, honest and credible. I will use Russums again.

Can't recommend the kind people at Russums enough. Ordered something and it arrived within 24 hours, then had to make an exchange and were really wonderful throughout the process.Great business and great people.
