Woodlands Hospice

Avoid at all cost, my mother was terminal and the staff and drs tried every trick to limit the visits. Also took them 3 days after her passing to sign relevant paperwork. Completely void of any responsibility or empathy. PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE'S THERE.

This place and all the staff are truly amazing and looked after my dear friend John Sparks until his passing. The care he received was professional and compassionate at all times. Thank you so much

My Dad passed away at woodlands 29/08/2015, the care he received and the support we received as a family was excellent. Mum passed away 09/07/2018. Today we arranged to see tree of life and chose a place for golden leaf. Today was bittersweet, thank you Carol for guidance and Jan it was lovely catching up.

Just want to say a big thankyou to all the staff for taking care of my mum. You did an amazing job. We took comfort in the knowledge that she was in safe hands. Thankyou once again.

My mum was taken in to the hospice to undergo a procedure. The care they gave to my mum pre- and post op has been phenomenal and the patience they had with my sister and myself were just amazing. They keep you informed at every stage and go the extra mile to ensure you know they are supporting you as a family. Thank you all. Chantal & Michelle daughters of Louise (room G)

Some of the staff were nice, but obviously not the ones who allowed one of their 'colleagues' to steal a piece of jewellery from my terminally ill mother and get away with it. Police called... eventually. Staff member allowed to leave premises without being searched or questioned. Yeah, you read that right: one of them stole jewellery from my mother. They are absolute scum.And yes, you should damn well know who this is - unless stealing from the terminally ill is so widespread at the hospice?Don't let your relatives near this place - they deserve far better in their final days.

My best friend Pam was in the woodlands for 11 weeks she passed away on 15th September. The staff from docs nurse's healthcare volunteers and cleaners were all fabulous looked after Pam and all her family thanks from the bottom of my heart you are all amazing xxxx

Fantastic place, absolutely lovely staff. Couldn’t recommend enough. They really are caring from the doctors to the volunteers. Made my mums last few weeks peaceful and treated her with love.
