Recently purchased a Volvo V-90 Cross Country from Lookers in Colchester. Was attended by James Payne (sales exec.) and found the service very superb.I hate buying and selling cars but James made the process prompt, informative and personal.He obviously knows his vehicles and gave me a decent deal on my XC 70.I have no hesitation in recommending Lookers and James in particular.

Looking for an XC90 for some time, I came across one which was competitively priced at Lookers, Colchester. Being >2 hours away there's always a risk on both side - but found James Payne to be nothing but honest and professional. Provided a hugely detailed video and was totally honest about the vehicle I enquired about.There was no gamesmanship - we negotiated a deal and agreed to view the vehicle - which was exactly as described. No wasted journey!Collected the car on Monday 11th, and absolutely chuffed with it. Again - the dealership, and entire buying process was straightforward, simple and efficient. Working around my schedule and answering questions quickly.The use of Whatsapp was a great idea - and allowed questions to be asked / photo's sent.Would strongly recommend these guys if you're looking for a Volvo! This is my first trip to Lookers Volvo Colchester for my annual Service and M.O.TI was disappointed can’t Service my vehicle at my local nearest Volvo dealer Lookers Chelmsford because of overbooking.The whole experience was great. Easy online check in a couple day’s before which made it a quick drop off on the day itself.Very friendly Laura - customer service on my arrival at 9.30am. She advised me that the car would be ready in about 2pm and would call me. Service carried out with no problems. Paperwork explained, car returned wash and cleaned (very well) inside & out. Highly recommend this branch.

I would recommend Lookers Volvo Colchester to anyone. The service I have recently received from Kelly Clancy and her colleagues have been second to none. I expressed interest in purchasing a second hand V40 and nothing was too much bother for the team. So much was done behind the scenes during the week before my pick up date to ensure my car was to the Volvo Selekt standard and I have not been disappointed whatsoever. I will definitely be returning when my MOT and service is due next year.
