very disappointing. we 3 had lunch there today and although the chicken bites were nice the salad was a disaster.. The salad had actually been frozen hence the lettuce leaves, the cucumber and the tomatoes were all mush. I've never known of anybody freezing salad

Newly opened in Broughty Ferry after success of Dundee restaurant.Premises are tastefully decorated down to the beautiful cutlery, seats are comfortable, toilets spotless and well equipped. We prefer to view a menu before reserving a table and do not normally dine in a restaurant that puts their menu on Facebook as we do not have a Facebook account, they are just a scammers to do list, however having dined in Dundee we knew food would be good.Menu has a good choice, artisan bread, tapas and larger plates too. We had monkfish cheeks and lamb both delicious and full of flavour. Good choices for vegetarians too. Sweets are so good I could have had two! Decent coffee to follow not bitter at all.No tapas Tuesday yet but were advised this was to follow in future.Wine list being printed off soon, looks good with something to suit your taste.Owners look after their well trained staff and that is reflected in the friendly, professional service.Small restaurant which is very popular make sure to reserve a table especially on Friday and Saturday.

Disappointing. Sent the lunch menu after booking only to be told on arrival it was an evening menu they serve on Sundays, which wasn't as good. Ordered first round of cocktails which were lovely. Second round, same drinks but completely different and received only half a glass this time. At £9.25 I expect the small glass to be full. I complained but was advised the cocktail was made correctly. I asked them to take it back and remove from my bill, which they did. No offer of another drink but an apology later. Overrated!

Was here for the sunday roast, food was really tasty and the beef was cooked beautifully but for £23 I don't think it was good value at all. I came away still hungry. I think i had two roasties on my plate, more veg and sides please!

Been to the Dundee Selkie and really enjoyed it so the Ferry selkie had a lot to live up to… well it was fantastic! Choice was great and our lunch was perfectly presented. Will be back soon!

Had lunch here, food was delicious - would highly recommend the jambalaya, chorizo and black pudding and the popcorn cauliflower side.We found portion sizes were good and would say no more than two plates per person are needed.

Party of 8 for lunch, all very happy with the sharing plates, had one of each and extras no problem. All freshly made and very tasty. A hard crowd to please but everyone very happy.

My wife and I went there for lunch today by chance after being turned away from another place close by that was fully booked. So glad we did. We thought the food was exceptional. Fresh, well presented and delicious! The staff were also lovely and attentive. We don't get out very often and this felt like a real treat. Thanks.
