Chaps Barbers

It's ok. Honestly, it isn't a bad barber's, but they made multiple mistakes in my hair.Firstly, I had to wait for 2 hours, which was fine. No one's fault. Patients. When I finally got into the chair, the man was friendly and easy to talk to. We had a great chat, but my hair wasn't even on both sides!!!Second visit, another Barber, who has a great personality was cutting my hair and was looking away all the time, as he was talking to another Barber! He made 3 massive mistakes!!!Anyways, it isn't bad, don't be put off. But I won't be returning.

Great place for a decent priced cut. Appointments can be made if you don't want to wait in a queue but if you time it right you won't have to wait long anyway. Great lads who have always been very patient with my youngest son who hasn't always enjoyed getting his hair cut!

Me and little man got a our hair done here again today, did a cracking job and the chap even showed me some awesome stuff that cleverly disguises balding and thinning of the hair ontop. Looks really good will be back soon!Highly recommend this place for a proper hair cut. Very clean barber shop!

Popped in for my first time this lunchtime. Was seen to straight away. Showed the gentleman what I wanted doing on my phone (mohawk - nothing off top, zero shave round sides). What he did was absolutely spot on! Even went to a 'super zero' which I didn't even know existed.Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely fantastic service as always. The guys are welcoming and always do a fab job.i highly recommend chaps to anyone.

Rang up to book appointment, told to just come down, sat in cue for ages then someone who comes in gets to bump infront of us. Not cool as I could have just booked for the day after rather than sit in a barber shop from 4.30pm till 6.30pm till we can even get on a seat by the time we get home it will be too late to even make tea. Bit dissappointed wont be returning as the booking setup and prioritising others isnt professional. I said id come at 4pm and was told they arent taking bookings for then as havent been busy so just come down. Nevermind will go elsewhere from now on if thats how they work.Response to owners reply: no mention of appointments was made to me when i called at 2pm to book. Infact you asked me what time I said 4pm or shortly after you said just come down we arent busy. But clearly you were as you already just told me you were fully booked for the day by the time I called. It would have been gone 6.30pm by the time id have gotten my chance to get a cut and my lad was having his too but you close at 7pm. Not being funny but its happened twice and i didnt come back for a while because of it I drive all the way over and get turned away need to book, then i call to book you say no need to book then I cant even get done after waiting ages. Sorry but i dont feel like the whole one minute booking next minute walk in but still being bumped infront of by bookings system just dont feel great as a customer sat there. Never seen it happen in any other barbers weve been too.Oh and maybe 32mins inside but we were stood outside for a while because there was no room in the shop.

tldr: 5/5 barbers, if you haven't been yet you should!new to the area so gave chaps a go for my first trim since moving here.Jack cut my hair, he was a friendly guy with great chat, did a great job of my hair and for a good price. Definitely coming back and would recommend to anyone in the totty area.the job itself was professional and you can tell jack enjoys what he does. I typically have fussier hair that barbers can struggle with but he took care of it and just seemed to know what he was doing.

The staff here know what they are talking about, work well and do a fantastic job, and are polite and friendly. This has quickly become our regular barbers. I took my girlfriend's son here to get his hair cut. At 4, he really doesn't like loud noises (hairdryers, hand dryers, hoovers etc). The staff here were amazing. They didn't use any noisy appliances. They were very patient with him and chatted with him.When I was describing what I wanted for his hair, they listened and began working. About half way through they suggested that a different style might suit him better, and showed me exactly what they meant. I was unsure but once they explained it I agreed that it might look good. And they were right.
