We loved our stay at Corry Lodge. The room was huge, lovely fluffy towels and a great view.We had a friendly welcome by the gentleman looking after the house; he was so helpful with great advice on where/what to see and local restaurants.The house has a homely feel despite being very large, very tastefully decorated. The breakfast was great with homemade jams and fresh baked pastries.One of the best rooms I have stayed in; coupled with the excellent service and location I would recommend staying here.

While there are plenty of amenities, I found the lack of TV to add to the relaxing atmosphere!!The short 20 minute walk into the village was nothing short of stepping back into time as we used the trail along the waters edge.Best part?The staff. Alina was a superb hostess and went above and beyond what we expected.

This was actually quite a relaxing stay.It's a comfortable nice little lodge.They have a lot of amenities and you can bring your own food to make.I find it ideal for families or groups traveling together. The only thing is that they dont have a shower just bath so if you are tall like me you might find a slight complication.Other than that it's fair for what you pay.

There were definite pros and cons to this place. I’ll start with the pros- very nice hostess who was very accommodating. Very clean room and bathroom with a fantastic tub and sea views. Nice towels. Cons- the grounds and building look really run down and unkempt. The property is not maintained very well at all. There is a broken toilet just sitting in the parking area. It seems like a very little maintenance would go a very long way here. The sitting room smells very old and musty. And its very expensive for what you get. You don’t even get a cooked breakfast. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but definitely not worth it for the money.

Stayed here for one night, which was okay.The owner is very friendly and showed us around the cozy and authentic lodge.These are the only the pros, now the cons:It was frickin cold (only come here in summer), the fireplace didn't work properly and the kitchen was freezing (things in the fridge felt warm). If we would have stayed longer, we really would have missed a shower, as there only was a bath tub...

Didn't happen. Supplier of service cancelled at very short notice due to either electrical issue" or "over booking" depending on who you believe! Considering booked last August

We went to Scotland for the sheep but stumbled upon this lovely spot. The staff was AMAZING and incredibly friendly, was very Scottish cabin in appeal, which was exactly what we wanted. There was a lovely young man who helped us, he was informative, and pleasant to speak to!!

We rented two bedrooms for a night with my a mother and my sister. Our only regret was not to stay longer. Paradise home in a quiet domain. The only bad" point would be the outside of the house that need more care."
