I used to be a loyal patron, but I was quite disappointed when I paid £9 for a rice dish that only had 2 prawns. It felt like I could have easily prepared it at home for much less. I mentioned my concerns when I ordered 3 dishes, specifically asking for a decent amount of prawns, and I was assured they would meet my request. Unfortunately, they didn't follow through on their promise. My daughters and I used to frequent this place, but this experience has led us to reconsider our choice. Please consider improving the quality and quantity of your dishes.Please take this feedback into account for future improvementsRESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!I understand your concern, and I appreciate your apology for not meeting the expected standard in your prawn dishes. It's reassuring to know that your prawn dishes should include 4 king prawns, and it may have been an unintentional mistake. However, I won't email you to resolve this issue. I've experienced this problem multiple times, with the most recent occurrence just a few days ago when my daughter and I ordered the same dish, and the prawns were once again insufficient. While one mistake can be forgiven, a total of 5 incorrect dishes within a week suggests a recurring issue. We value our hard-earned money just as much as you do, and we hope for better experiences in the future. This experience has left us with no choice but to say, NEVER AGAIN.""

Baan Thai has verity of tasty foodLast night placed an ordered on the UberEats app. I ordered Prawn Pad Thai £8.95, Singapore Laksa £9.90, Prawn Stir Fried Black Beans Sauce £8.95. They were fantastic, flavours were great, definitely glad we chose Baan Thai again...The takeaway arrived piping hot, and I must express their portions very generous. I have eaten here several times and finally decided to leave a review.Well worth a try and especially for vegetarians. To me this is the best Thai restaurant/takeaway in Kentish Town hands down. I will definitely return soon!

We did our headline show at the O2 forum tonight end wanted a quick bite before stage time. This place is small but inviting. The food… truly wow!! I had the BBQ ribs to start followed by the drunk noodles with chicken that had a really nice chilli kick and was cooked to perfection. I was very happy with my good selection. Excellent and reasonably sized portions. VERY tasty!

I placed an order for Thai cuisine, but what arrived was essentially Chinese dishes disguised as Thai. The Thai stir-fried chili basil chicken, which should be dry and minced, turned out to be a regular Chinese chicken dish drowning in a watery sauce. Similarly, the nasi goreng resembled basic fried rice rather than the authentic Thai version. Even the Thai green curry seemed more like Chinese green gravy. Even as Chinese food, it didn't meet expectations. This is incredibly frustrating; none of the dishes resembled Thai cuisine, which is what I paid for.

The finger food and the main courses had unique taste to each dish, which made me remember the authentic food I had in Thailand. The food itself was just the right amount of filling. The service could use one more person, however having one person serving and taking orders is sometimes good for a small place like this, and she was a very nice person.
