I got a puncture 3 weeks ago and was unlucky enough to be close to this bike shop. They told me to go for coffee while they fix it, which now that I think about I was very naive. On my return they didn't show me what they changed and charged me for a new tube which they scanned from a sealed box. Paid 22.50£ for the service. Brought the bike back home and left for my holidays. Came back today and the tyre is completely flat.I think I've been extremely unlucky or scammed. I won't go back, not even to argue about it.

Realised one lunchtime had a comprehensive rear tyre failure on my (recently serviced at another shop) Pashley. The London Bicycle Workshop took it in that lunchtime and turned it around within a couple of hours (in stark contrast to the nameless bike shop nearby which simply said it was not possible unless I booked in for mid-way through the next month).Price was entirely fair given Pashley doesn't make changing a rear tyre easy, and I had my major form of transport back within the day.I was also given some advice as to why the other tyre had failed and how to explain it to the people who had serviced it previously. All in all, an excellent service.

Couldn't recommend these guys more. I have found most bike shops/workshops completely different to bike workshops across the rest of the country in that they are wildly expensive, unfriendly and generally 'no' type people. Piotr was incredibly helpful and clearly cares a lot about his customer's bikes.I was requesting a quick workaround despite knowing I needed a longer term fix and he explained that 'we fix bikes properly'. Refreshing to hear he would rather do the job right than take some short term cash now and more later when I need the real fix.I also noticed later that weekend that he had plugged a couple of bar ends onto the handlebar for free and didn't even mention it. Legend.Won't be going anywhere else in London for bike stuff.

Cannot recommend this place enough. We got a flat tyre on our buggy after arriving in London from Kings Cross Station and our holiday would have been goosed if it wasn’t for the amazing help of the guy in this shop (sorry I forgot to get your name) I understand it’s a cycle shop and ours was a pushchair but he went out of his way to help us and fixed it within an hour of us arriving at the shop. Such a nice friendly guy

Great guy here who obviously knew his stuff and tried to help me the best he could, no questions asked (Evans turned me away for riding brakeless). Unfortunately they didn't have the right part but still remedied the situation just enough for me to be able to get to the train station, didn't charge me anything. The world needs more bicycle shops and mechanics like this.

Best bike shop in London. Forget the rest, this is where you get proper service. I highly recommend it! The two mechanics who run the place are also incredibly friendly and helpful.

Fantastic independent shop. I got a flat on my Brompton today near Kings X, and these guys helped me get it fixed within an hour. Piotr also shared some clever tips and tricks on maintenance. Solid prices too. Thanks!

Great service! I went there with some questions and been answered with no problem, I have asked about brakes, he adjusted them without asking for money, he changed throttle and adjusted front gear, checked the cables and functionality of the motor itself. All for very attractive price! If you got an E- bike, thats the place you should visit for sure, small friendly bussines without high street prices, 100% reccomend! Stay safe y'all

Excellent. Bike service is very thorough and accurate - the bike rides like new following a service. Staff are knowledgable and helpful. With more than 30+ years of cycling experience, I ride all the way across London to have my bike serviced at this workshop as it's the best place I've found!
