Bathminster doggy Field Trips

TRAINING WITH TEDI was looking for a trainer who has experience with bull terriers. Believe me this is a task in itself, as there isnt many out there! I needed help with how to walk Ted and for him not pull my arms out. I reached out to Dean at Bathminster after finding his website and Facebook page. He came round to the house to meet our boy Ted and do an initial assessment of him. He soon realised that Ted has massive anxieties and is scared of the world. Dean has supported and shown me how to help Ted, by calming his anxiety in certain situations and to have a pleasant walk together. We still have a long way to go, as unfortunately it isn't a quick fix butDean as the the skill set and knowledge to train any stubborn bullie (and owner!). We'll be forever grateful for all his support.I would highly recommend Dean if you need help with training your pooch.

We started using Bathminster Day Care when I'd had hip surgery which prevented me from walking our beloved Vizsla.. We found Dean & Michelle to be very knowledgeable & caring and we instantly felt secure that they were the right choice. We get regular videos and updates and can see clearly how all of the dogs interact and enjoy their time at Bathminster.. We will continue to use on a regular basis after my hip has healed as we feel our dog really enjoys the interaction she gets here.

Dean has worked with us to get our Labrador Teddy walking well on his lead, improving recall, wait and helping us become leaders. Teddy has learnt fast as Dean is a great trainer and communicator.No longer do we get super stressful on dog walks. During our sessions, Dean has shown us techniques that Teddy responds really well to and it’s really a joyful moment when you and your dog are working in harmony!We would highly recommend Dean for anyone looking for an experienced trainer with a no nonsense refreshing approach which worked great for us and Teddy. Training has been going really well, we're over the moon with the progression so far, my dog is a rescue and hasn't been trained previously but Dean has tailored his training to suit us, our dog was very reactive towards other dogs and dean bought his own dogs along to train ours in the best way possible. Since using Dean @ Bathminster for training.Personally, I feel so much more confident in my knowledge, in my ability to manage my 10 month old Labrador in any situation.In terms of him, my boy Hugo. He is not so much more calm and balanced. He now walks well by my side. But even when given lead and told “go on then” he doesn’t pull like a train. He walks gently ahead, sniffing and just being a dog.How he greets other dogs now, is with restraint and calmness.If off lead, I can manage his behaviour if he gets a little ahead of himself. Plus he’ll come back to me when called without issue.In our home, Hugo now no longer wrecks property when left alone. And the crate training has been a godsend. And he sees the crate as a place of relaxation.I’m so grateful to Dean for what he has helped me and Hugo to achieve.It’s such a joy being a confident and competent dog owner and leader as Dean would say.Fully recommend Dean for any training requirements.

Deans training has been great for our reactive dog. He always explains the sessions & why we are doing what we are doing. His manner is calm & reassuring & on our dog walks now I’m starting to feel like I’m in control rather than the dog!!Highly recommend

She's a beauty but was totally controlling us.
