Went here for my first time. Sat through a session as I suffer with social anxiety. Staff where friendly but this did not help for me.

After initial assessment I waited 6 months and nobody contacted me. I phoned again and was informed that they must have lost my details. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is the attitude you have towards people that ask you for help?!They finally signed me up for meetings, which went great thanks to a lady that did it but the second week door was closed, nobody answered the phone and I had appoinment booked. After I emailed them i got no aswer. Ridiculous, dissapointing and scary thinking that's how you treat people with issues.

Hope everyone else has better luck than I had with Swansea Mind, the landlines number is a waste of time as nobody picks up. Had better luck with thier mobile number, but after a brief conversation and a promise of a telephone consultation (that never materialise) I've heard absolutely nothing. Very disappointing.

Excellent place run mainly by volunteers, a few paid workers, taking on the slack and disgusting state of the mental health system here in this country. Wonderful people who work there, self referral is recommended or from medical profession. Only available certain times and days owing to limit placed by staff numbers and client needs. Great Support and advice service.

I used to come here years ago, but I left after I came to realize that I could not progress anymore and needed to move on and do other things, my conversion to Christianity in February 2012 really helped me with my mental illness and alcoholism as well. Tell me does Emma James and Laura Burke still work here? I found them very helpful as well.
