Wyre Estuary Country Park
Great place to go. Lovely views and a very well equipped and large play area for kids. The play features include: a jungle gym, 2 round abouts, a preculiar swing, a seesaw and a place to build dens. However the are 3 trails that are not marked properly so you have to go to the start and take a picture of the map to know where to go

Peaceful serene location with fantastic views over Morecambe Bay to the Lake District. Very popular here for dog walkers along the riverside.Great parking facilities with a cafe on site

Wyre Estuary Country Park
Well worth a visit if your passing nearby. Free car park (fantastic idea, well done Wyre council). Cafe with reasonably priced ice cream (including Wallings). Nice play areas set up for younger and older kids. But the best thing about it are the fresh walks with the river in the background. Look up 'tramper trail' before you set off. Great walk that's not too challenging for any age. Not as busy and touristy as nearby Blackpool beach if you are visiting and a nice way to spend a couple of hours. Everyone seems friendly and you get a mix of ages including families and dog walkers.

Absolutely stunning walk , lovely cafe to stop at for a brew and something to eat , lovely friendly young man served us , highly recommended.

Wyre Estuary Country Park
A little jewel in wyre's pocket. Great free parking. Most paths are wheelchair friendly as is the cafe and toilets. The kids playground is great and seems to grow every time I visit. Some hills to navigate. In autumn the foraging is great with blackberries and damson in abundance, crab and apples as well. Take your litter home and keep it beautiful. The views are wonderful.

Lovely peaceful spot with beautiful views. The footpaths need a bit of TLC to be disabled friendly as we couldn't walk on them with the walker and I struggled with my sticks. When we went the cafe was closed although a small kiosk available for tea, coffee etc.

Wyre Estuary Country Park
Nice peaceful location. Dog friendly and easy low level paths. Lovely picnic areas & cafe....outside service only at the moment, but nice set up with tables & umbrellas ( for shade or shelter!) Public loos available for a charge. Good place for that countryside feel.
