British Transport Police

On Monday 3rd September I was refused support by TransPennine train guard. I have a spinal disability which means that under certain conditions such as a cold train I experience severe nerve pain, waist down numbness, incontinence, and unable to walk without I support. The guard claimed I need to give him 24 hour notice before he could provide a wheelchair. Lack of provision put me in danger of falling and hence jeopardised my safety. TransPennnine are not aware of the Equality Act. Two British Transport Police at Leeds station came to my rescue and saved the day even though its not there job - thanks for that.
