Not honest. A necklace was reduced in the sale to £460, they dropped the tag and made a big thing of losing the tag saying they couldn’t find it on the computer. Then the woman ran it through the till at £495 and I didn’t notice.When I rang first thing Sunday to say my card had been debited £495, they said just come in and they’d reimburse me and there won’t be a problem.Once I got there they’d put two more out very vividly labelled £495 ready to just point persistently at them.It was a terrible purchase experience for something that should have been a special one, especially having deliberated over buying it in the first place.It is £35, not a huge amount, but buying it was erratic and it felt like they were trying it on because I’d been in before and had liked it and they were banking on me buying it regardless because it had been reduced.It is the principle of poor customer service too as the lady on the phone promised they would reimburse me, but I had to come in person on Fathers Day. Then after making me travel all the way into York again and park having taking my number again, they reneged.I will be staying with Barbara Cattle traditional Jewellers from now on, that is for sure. Honesty and customer experience are priorities for me.

Well we've just had the best day getting an engagement ring from Bradley's of York. Lynne was so helpful and talked us through all of our options before settling on the one! She was vwrybinformatice and had that personal touch. Thank you so much !

Bradleys fixed my engagement ring recently and they did an amazing job! I'd knocked the diamond out of the setting, so they popped it back in and had it ready to collect in just over a week (they even polished it up for me, so it looks brand new!) Fantastic customer service from start to finish, thank you!

Recently bought an engagement ring at Bradley’s and had an excellent experience. Mike learned about my fiancées preferences for a ring and how we were struggling to find the right one. He took this information, worked on a few templates which he later showed me, and let me choose one allowing for customisation. All of this for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend, thanks to Mike and the Bradley’s team for all their help – she loves the ring!

Visited this shop today and can highly recommend.The staff lovely and adjusted my watch while I waited.Was even offered a warm drink whilst I waited.

Such friendly staff! I visited here a year ago to purchase an engagement ring and was so happy with the service that me and my Fiancée went back and bought our wedding rings from here. Once again, the service we received was second to none. I'm not sure just how many items of Jewellery I will purchase in my lifetime, but I'll be making sure that Bradleys of York will be my first stop each and every time!
