The Corner Shop

AWFUL, AWFUL AWFUL Customer Service. This shop is linked to EVRI parcel drop off etc… but once she saw I wasn’t there to buy anything, except the parcel drop off.. she totally ignored me. Refused to help me use the printer for EVRI labels etc, saying they have nothing to do with EVRI and it wasn’t her problem!! I said that surely if they agreed to be an agent for EVRI then surely she could offer some help , but she refused and then asked me to leave the shop, she wasn’t prepared to accept the parcel from me. Point blank refused to offer any help. Not a friendly face of welcome at all. !!!! This was the same shop that was trying to charge £18 for toilet rolls in the pandemic .. speaks volumes about what kind of service they offer and people they are. AVOID.. AVOID .. AVOID , they don’t deserve any business. But what goes around, comes around .. and I’m sure they will get their cum- uppence.Hope they go bust!!

A disgusting dirty shop, staff are awful, they rob local people with their over priced items, and for the second time now, they have short changed my children when they go in, just to make a quick few pounds. Stay well away!

One star because theres no option to leave 0 stars...Absolutely p!$$ ignorant the staff in this shop, went in to collect an Evri order as well as send one. They leave the Evri orders in a yellow trolley which is in the middle of the shop for anyone to reach into a take a parcel - must be a modern day lucky dip" for thieves! Charged over £5 a small tub of marge as well

If I could give zero stars I would!Absolutely disgraceful shop...taking advantage of the vulnerable and elderly by charging £18.99 for toilet roll during this pandemic! The guy in there also tried to short change me last week! Under no circumstances will I be using this shop again and I urge you all to do the same

Had a package which says, on-line, this news agents support the delivery of a package we have. Operative who I'm guessing was the owner could barely bring himself off his phone and mumbled almost inaudibly No can't print." We drove from Barnard castle. Absolute bare minimum of interest in being disturbed..."

Every village needs a shop like this. If it is not in stock then they will get it for you. Some short periods when it is not open. Cannot rely on its opening times. New staff now. Will deliver papers. Amazon and Evri hub.

Went to the shop at 10am as myself and my partner were heading to the door and the man in the shop locked the door and turned off the open sign. I stood trying to get his attention to ask if they were closed for the day, he ignored us.We went back to the car not knowing why the shop was closed as it states it's open from 8am. After getting back in the car and looking for the closest shop that would do yodel parcel deliverys we noticed he unlocked the door and turned on the open sign again.We then proceeded to enter the shop once inside he instantly said I'm trying to open my shop why are you coming so early with parcels". We then proceeded to the till for him to not be able to scan the code

Man who was in charge of the shop today was horriblely rude! No customer Service at all will NEVER BE RETURNING

The most unhelpful shop I have been bene into .Never will I use this shopThe lady had her hood up the whole time , was on her phone very rude
