What a fantastic company! Ordered a large pendant for the dining room via the website (which in itself was a great shopping experience!!), that unfortunately had to be amended due to the fabric being unavailable.Great service from Daniel explaining the situation and allowed a great choice of options for resolution. A replacement fabric was selected and re-ordered via email - lampshade was promptly handmade and despatched super quick. The shade is truly lovely - cannot recommend highly enough, thanks Daniel & team.

A beautifully presented, stylish and inspirational lighting shop (mainly handmade table lamp and ceiling shade). The owners are charming, helpful and the value is excellent. Could have bought more shades and lamps (fantastic fabric used to line shades) but I already have a surfeit! It would be difficult to find a more impressive shade and lighting shop in the trendier areas of London. Excellent.

I ordered my lampshade on the 9th august and it arrived today 17th August,arrived quicker than i thought it would which was a lovely surprise,I am over the moon with it, I love it! Each shade is made to order. I will definitely be ordering from them again. I highly recommend them. Matches my room perfectly. Also the shades are made of high quality

What a fantastic store, I was delighted with the personalised service I got from Rab the owner of Light Owl. My custom made lampshades are PERFECTION and throughout he whole process Rab was creative and accommodating. After visiting the Darlington based store I also had to pick up a few pieces for my home as I couldn't resist, he has such an interesting collection of home decor, macrame & art in store. If you are visiting Darlington pop along to this gem of a store, top quality service from such a friendly owner too !

I came across Light Owl during a Google search to find a local independent shop to use during lockdown after they were forced to close.Website looks great and I ordered a new light shade for my bedroom. It's just what I wanted. It arrived yesterday, great quality and looks really nice. I'll be submitting another order soon!
