Stoney Littleton Long Barrow Car park
The actual Stoney Littleton Long Barrow is a 5 star rating. However, getting there is a nightmare. You have to drive through miles of very narrow lanes. Once you have arrived at your destination, there is only enough parking for about 3 cars. With all the torrential rain, the fields were muddy, so wellies were needed.

Stoney Littleton Long Barrow Car park
It's a small carpark that is perfect to walk up to the long barrow. The reason for the review is to highlight the lovely little ice-cream shack at the house opposite. A lovely opportunity to eat a delicious Marshfield ice-cream and chat to the very pleasant and friendly chap who served up. The drive to the carpark from Wellow is very exciting if you meet another car (but it's unlikely to happen). Photo is of the ammonite in the stone at the entrance to the barrow.

Stoney Littleton Long Barrow Car park
Nice place with lots of history, views and wildlife. I've been here a couple of times and would recommend parking in the big car park in Wellow, as the road is very narrow with no passing places. And the car park is only suitable for 4 or 5 cars.

Stoney Littleton Long Barrow Car park
Great SMALL very SMALL FREE car park, only room for about 6 cars max, if everyone parks properly,be early if you want to see the long barrow, tight lanes with passing places, if the car park is full you can't even turn around, so you have to keep going through the lanes, quite a few cars had to do this when we were there, there's nowhere to even pull in and wait for someone to go.
