I am very happy of this hairdresser Karen is very pro kind and thoughtful. I went for a colour and silkpress my hair wasn’t purple but she warned me that I had to bleach my hair if I wanted a real purple things that I don’t wanted to do to preserve my hair . But I had a nice colour and my silk press was amazing very sleek and flexible , my hair fluttered in the wind . Also for an Afro hairdresser she was ON TIME AND I DIDN’T SPENT ALL MY DAY IN !! I recommend at 200%

Karen was nice, however I asked for a root drag and she went ahead and did a colour but not the technique I asked for, it seems she didn't understand yet went ahead and coloured my hair anyway.The colour looks orange even after toning and she knew I was not happy, yet still charged a ridiculous amount.I replied to her email explaining how unhappy I was but it seems she couldn't care less as no repsone.Won't be returning.

Called this morning after reviewing good hairdressers offering keratin blow-dry treatment. Karen was happy to slot me in to a cancellation spot explaining I'd need to work around her other appointments.Upon entering the salon I was given a warn greeting, the salon itself is nicely presented, comfortable and well stocked. It was clear to see Karen is knowledgeable and passionate about natural hair care which was reassuring for me. I asked whether I could also have my hair dyed and was told no as I was a new customer and would have to do a patch test first.The treatment provided was great and my hair looks and feels healthy. I've rebooked to do my colour soon. Great salon and first class service.

Extremely rude, obnoxious, arrogant staff... I'd avoid this place unless you want the 'Karen's Diner' hair experience.Called the salon to make an enquiry and was met with a barrage of attitude, to which I am still unsure what for.Everybody has bad days, I suppose but there is absolutely no need to take it out somebody else.. Especially not a potential customer.Good manners cost absolutely nothing, but bad manners can cost you business

Wow! I had my first visit today as I needed to find a new hairdresser and I am so pleased with Karen Wright Salon. I was well looked after, and Karen really knows her stuff. Her prices are very reasonable and it was just a lovely atmosphere in the salon. Everyone was wearing masks so it was Covid friendly too. I’ll be back soon!!

I have just visited for the first time and was very satisfied. I was greeted nicely by the assistant who offered me a drink and took my coat. My appointment started on time and I was out in 1 hour 30! Something that rarely happens at other salons. I also noticed the cleanliness and tidiness of the salon. I will definitely visit again.

Karen Wright has been my go to salon for just over a year now - I love visiting the salon as I have a full head of natural 4c hair. My go to services are deep condition with a blow dry, a full head weave and more recently highlights, a keratin treatment. Karen is great at recommending products and planning out different hair treatments such as colouring or a smoothing treatment, alongside when a trim is needed. If you are looking for a reliable, calm environment to have your hair done locally - this is the place for you!
