Millstream Medical Centre

I can’t praise the doctor here enough. Salisbury hospital messed up a urgent blood transfusion and left me being unable to sort it. My usual doctors were on shut down for training and the phone transferred me here. The doctor (I will find out his name) immediately called me back while i’m Sat at the hospital and said give him 10mins and he will sort it. He did. Within minutes he’s calling me back and saying a doctor at the department is waiting for me. He was brilliant. People have a very bad habit of always seeing the worst and never the great. I’ve spent enough time in hospital to know there are a few bad apples but in general these people do an amazing job. I wouldn’t do it for all the money in the world. I am forever grateful as it would of meant me going home and feeling unwell with a trip to A and E. When things go wrong they do go wrong as I know. So I think when it goes right and our doctors and nurses go beyond the call and help proves what great caring people they are. I am forever indebted and grateful for your help. Thank you. X

The old Castle Street surgery was excellent, which is more than I can say about Millstream Medical centre. Over the years I can recall three excellent GP’s at this surgery and they all happened to be salaried doctors.To ask patients who live in Salisbury City Centre to do a 20 mile round trip to Larkhill to get a Covid buster is unacceptable especially the elderly who may not have transport.On a positive note the reception staff are always friendly and helpful.

Always helpful, kind, patient and caring from front desk through to clinician/GP appointment. 10/10.

I find the ratings just don’t reflect my experience. I’ve been with these guys for over 2 years and honestly had a near perfect outcome every visit, including with my little boy. Dr Rosa went above and beyond every time, he is sadly not there anymore but everyone I’ve seen since have done everything they can and been great. The pharmacy gets easily overrun and sometimes struggles but they will be honest about this but it’s not the worst and it’s been overall great. Every time I’ve needed an appointment I’ve got one that day and sometimes if it’s during the day I need one when none are left they always give a phone appointment. Honestly, they’ve been great.

Always excellent service for my husband and I. Helpful receptionists and caring nurses. Recently my phone call was returned quite quickly and a slot found at Millstream to see the doctor at the surgery with my two problems one of which could have been serious. A new Doctor listened and arranged follow up. All Covid precautions were in place and from the first phone call the interview was completed in two hours., amazing.

Millstream medical centre has always been, in my experience, a fantastic service. I was a patient at the surgery even before it was in it's current location and have always received prompt attention and great care. I have two asthmatic sons, who have always been seen as quickly as possible. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient at Millstream now for approximately 5 years and am very happy with the service they provide. The call wait time isn’t too long, the reception staff are always super helpful as are the admin team too. The medical team are equally as helpful and responsive to my queries.

We visited the walk in clinic 18.01.23 at 7pm for my son, what can I say the staff are soo lovely made such an effort with my son and the doctor was soo friendly and patient with us while we dealt with our little one. We walked away with answers. Honestly rated the visit so much. Thank you.
