Place now looking unkempt and uncared for. Owners needs to take care of outside area.Food as always good. Serving staff always give good service.

Stopped off for a takeaway hot drink. Staff lovely. Nice selection of sweet and savoury food available to buy and take home. Looked like quality home made pies etc.

Enjoyed the rolls and the tea, service was friendly nice stop when the sun is out however on the day we stopped it would have been more enjoyable had the grass been cut. Won't stop me going back.

Ordered two rolls one Stornoway black pudding and one sausage and a can of juice £9.60.I don’t mind paying for quality, the black pudding was decent but the sausage wasn’t butchers steak slice as detailed on their board, it was cash and carry sausage at best.You know when it’s a butchers sausage, it has better bite etc.A bit pricey, but too expensive at £3.20 for a cash and carry sausage on a roll. I’d expect proper butchers sausage at that price as detailed on their board.I agree with previous reviews the train station bing bong to tell you that your order is ready it out of place in this quiet village outskirts setting.

We ordered coffee, tea and some sweets. It was all very nice and the staff was superb, very nice and friendly.The toilet is 20p but it’s clean so that’s more than okay.

Unfortunately I didn't use the cafe part so I can't comment on that. I only used the toilet facility and will warn that you do need to pay 20p to go through a turnstile. It helps with the upkeep, which is well needed in such remote spots

It's okay, friendly staff. Outside seating area which is partially covered, but in the rain today it was all wet. Bit pricey considering it's takeaway. It's one family at a time inside to order, then a wait outside for the order. This is not an issue, just making others aware.Charge for toilets 20p.They did have some interesting looking pies available.

Terrific place, which I now regularly visit due to the standard and range of food and the friendliness of the staff. The first time I visited I arrived late afternoon, just as the restaurant was due to close. The staff however, still offered to serve me and cook my menu choice. The food, a cheeseburger with cheesecake to follow, was superb... and inexpensive. I've now had lots from the menu and it's all good. Thank you folks.
