The Bluebell Bistro
Really nice place. They are still finding their feet a bit and we had a rather long wait for our food, but the waitress (who was absolutely fabulous) kept us informed and was so apologetic. Desserts were amazing! Would definitely go back again. It was lovely and clean too. Overall really lovely experience.

We had an amazing meal last night. The tomahawk steak and teriyaki beef was delicious. Ellie our waitress was very attentive and professional. Despite having electrical issues it didn’t affect the service or the food at all. Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning again very soon.

Fabulous evening for a great meal out! The food was amazing, atmosphere and staff. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Anything we needed wasn’t too much trouble and service was always with a smile. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the lovely food!

The Bluebell Bistro
Attended last night for a private party. We drove 56 miles each way and nearly turned back due to traffic.We were pleasantly surprised on arrival with a warm welcome, nice decor, and food was great, better than expected. The staff were lovely and did a great job catering for around 60 people simultaneously.It's a bit too far for regular visits, but would be pleased to return when in the area.

We were a party of 12 for Sunday lunch. The food was lovely and there was a good choice on the menu. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food arrived at the same time and it was well presented. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful venue. Extremely friendly and well prepared team at the bluebell. We have spent our little work Christmas dinner here and couldn't have had a better time. Top marks to the establishment and I have no hesitation in booking again. Thank you all so much to everyone there this evening and thank you especially to our waitress who couldn't have been more welcoming and proud to represent such a lovely place.From the Essex Properties Team!

Easy to park, nice welcome from friendly staff. Food was delicious and efficiently served. One of us wanted their meat cooked a little more, this was not a problem and their plate was quickly back on the table. I appreciate that the restaurant has only recently opened but the atmosphere is part of the evenings experience. Replace the poor quality speaker with a decent sound system playing background music not somebody's play list. Also some soft furnishings will take away the emptiness feeling of the place. We will go back as the food was excellent and worth every penny.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Blue Bell Bistro in South Woodham Ferrers for their outstanding service on Saturday, November 11th. The owner and the entire staff went above and beyond to prepare the venue, creating the perfect ambiance for my party of around 50 people. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Everyone felt welcome and had a great time. It was a special birthday celebration, and we all thought it was exceptional

Had an enjoyable Friday afternoon meal with my girlfriend in the bluebell bistro. Warm welcome from Melissa when we arrived. She also recommended good food from the menu which was cooked perfectly by the chef. Nice atmosphere and attentive service from Melissa throughout our meal. Looking forward to out next visit.
