Just visiting friends but a lovely relaxing place to spend some time

Staying at orchre now lovely place to stay, very well equipped, excellent hosts very quite a great place to forget about all of life's strain lovely and clean. Will be booking again for next year.

Top notch accommodation, totally dog friendly, you will want for nothing every need catered for. Have stayed 4 times now the attention to detail is astounding, worried your dog might run off? They now provide extra dog tags with the accommodation details just in case. A real gem and now often sold out for popular periods.

Stayed in Ochre Cottage for a week with my mum and 5 dogs May 2023. Highly recommend, we got an extremely friendly welcome from Belinda, Rob & the beautiful Holly which set the tone for a perfect stay. The cottage is clean, well appointed and with everything you could wish for. Towels and bedlinen are good quality as is all the furniture and equipment. We had a private terrace and small garden section which was so useful with the dogs, over the road is a lovely open field walk to the local church (perfect for a first thing in the morning or last thing at night leg stretch). The gardens, pool and grounds are beautifully kept and accessible adding to our enjoyment of the week utilising the pool on a hot day. Rob's artwork is beautiful and I recommend a look in the gallery. The local village is friendly and has a great butchers, pub and shop and there is so much to do in the local area.The best thing for me was just how dog welcoming Belinda & Rob are they truly make your 4 legged friends feel welcome and at home. Had a lovely 3 night break away last week, staying in Sienna with friends (4 adults in our 20’s & 4 dogs). Very clean and cosy cottage (loved the underfloor heating) with everything you need and more for self catering accommodation. A good size garden too and perfect for dogs - especially loved the holiday dog tags for their collars, such a good idea! So nice to feel comfortable staying somewhere that’s so dog friendly and very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back in the future, thank you Belinda, Rob & Holly dog!

Just spent a lovely 5 nights here staying in Ochre with friends staying in Umber .Lovely cottages , dog friendly , quiet and peaceful but comfy and inviting. Perfect place to stay over bonfire night if you have a dog that is frightened of them.We found the cottage was well equipped and we stayed in at night and cooked and had everything we needed.Sadly it was nice and mild whilst we stayed so didn’t light the lovely wood burner .Nice towels provided and comfy beds. We explored the nearby beaches and visited Tintagel and Clovelly .

Rob and Belinda are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Umber is a gorgeous cottage and all the facilities are first class. If you want peace and quiet but still have easy access to the coast this is the place. No traffic noise and no light pollution and the starry sky at night is lovely.
