Savoy Timber

Had exactly what I neededGood supplier.

Never used Savoy timber before and I’ll never use them again! Ordered online, turned up at the Wigan branch and no sign for reception. One sign said online orders no one there. Member of staff at another door having a fag showed him my email and he rudely responded with PAPERWORK!”I speak as I’m spoken to so responded with “WHERE?!” He just pointed so I went into another area that still wasn’t signposted as reception. Eventually found the right counter, got my paperwork then headed to the decking area. Another 2 members of staff walking towards reception clearly trying to avoid me. Gave one of them my paper work and he just sighed like I’d ruined his day!! Threw my boards on my truck with no care whatsoever and gave me the worst batch. If I can upload a picture I will. Worst customer service ever, sort your heads out!

Ordered and paid for some composite decking and some tantalised sub floor with some extra timbers and screws 2 weeks before needing a deliveryDelivery came on the day and driver unloaded on his own as arranged as I was starting the day afterI arrived on site and only the extra timbers had arrived and the decking no sub floorCalled up and had my completed delivery an hour laterMistakes unfortunately happen but it’s how you rectify it that sets you apartTop service

Ordered fence panels and other timber for delivery to Shevington from Wigan. Arrived as ordered. However, the young man delivering spotted an imperfection on two panels. Told me not to worry as he would take them back and replace them, delivering later that day. Arrived as promised - two perfect panels. This young man was both friendly and professional and should be commended for his very positive and customer centred attitude. Just hope any future deliveries are made by the same employee. I hope the management pass on this review.

Had a short length in my decking kit .. rang the branch at wigan and Martin came out of his own way to replace it for me.. can't thank them enough.

I have used Savoy many times in the past, they are really good value for money and the drivers are excellent BUT over the last 4 or 5 deliveries everything is short delivered, this week I was missing trellis and MDF, the driver will tell you the branch will be in touch but you hear nothing from either the support team or the branch. This is really poor for a business that delivers 'projects', they do not understand that one part of order missing stops the whole job, which you have normally packed the kids off, got a mate round to help and spent time preparing only to have stuff not turn up on the day and no one bothers to apologise or give updates, sadly I would rather pay more and get what I order on time and in full

The worst customer service I have ever experienced.Firstly ignored for 20 mins despite speaking to 3 staff to get a price for artificial grass that was not labeled or named just on a roll.Eventually given a good price so was going to take it but price given was wrong and staff could not be bothered to even see which we wanted. Unfortunately I'm not a builder so I don't know. we liked it we wanted it so sorry that we were such an inconvenience ill happily take the £400 we were happy to spend and go elsewhere. You and the attitude of the wigan staff can hopefully fail and go into liquidationPosted on here after still trying to deal with there shocking customer service team with 2 months of lies and still no sign of them actually acknowledging or sorting the issue.Frankly a joke of a company
