Fantastic company and staff to deal with - excellent quality scooter racks. I recently purchased one of the 'easy' tow ball type scooter racks from another company. This proved to be unreliable. It was held on by just one securing pin with all weight on the tow ball itself. It leaned backwards, rocked from side to side and was generally not reassuring at all - even with a 105kg 50cc scooter. 2 meters of scooter rocking about one fixing point from my engineering minds point of view is just asking for trouble.I done my research and found Armitages scooter racks. The extra bit of money was well worth it. The quality is flawless and the rack folds to within about 12-14 inches of the back of my motorhome when not in use. It attaches directly to the tow bar extensions on the left and right, not the tow ball. I collected and installed myself and Armitages - Thomas and one of the engineers gave me plenty of tips and help.Do not cut corners with cheap racks if you want the assurance that your scooter is in place securely.Top marks to Armitages, many thanks guys.

We are absolutely delighted with our ebike frame which was fitted promptly & expertly by Armitages' knowledgeable team. Everyone had a smile on their face, nothing was too much trouble & we just wish we had visited them years ago instead of messing with inferior foreign makes.Fitting was quick & we had a stressless 3hr trip straight after with the bikes on boardThank you team A!

Don't look any further for a motorhome scooter carrier these guys are probably the best in the uk . I drove 10 hours round trip to use these guys and I am so pleased I did . They even have a mini campsite on the canal with electric hook up . They have a waiting room with tea coffee and comfortable Leather sofas or if you fancy lunch and ski trip go to escape which is a £8 taxi ride away with shops a ski slope and a go kart track with every single amusement and restaurant you could ever want for the kids.Now back to the carrier they fitted an absolutely exceptional quality galvanised scooter carrier and everything was explained clearly so we can set up the scooter when we get home. Would highly recommend Wayne and all of his team I've passed on Wayne's number to my mate who's having a leveling system fitted to his motorhome next month .

A very professional and friendly firm to deal with.We had a scooter rack fitted to our motorhome. The pre-sales advice and guidance was second to none. The workforce listened to what we wanted and, so long as it was possible, delivered just that.The product itself was very good quality and the guidance on how to use it delivered comprehensively in a friendly manner. I would definitely recommend Armitages.I forgot to mention that it also doubles as a bike rack.

Blown away by the expertise of Wayne and his team. I wanted to fit a scooter and cycle/ebike rack to my 6m Elddis and they couldn't have been more helpful. They guided me through the important subject of axle and gross vehicle weights, steered me to a company that was able to update my certification when all looked lost, then fitted the rack and air assist with no drama.There are plenty of people out there who will sell you a rack, but no one matched the expertise I saw here.

Armitages have an excellent reputation for being knowledgeable at fitting tow bars to Motor Homes. They fitted mine this morning and they were very efficient and did a superb job.

Ordered a mobility scooter trailer recently. Great experience from beginning to end. Clear telephone discussion on sizes available, optional additions and expected availability date. The trailer was actually ready for collection two weeks earlier than expected. On arrival the item was ready to go following a very detailed hand over by a staff member. Nothing seemed too much bother. Lovely people to deal with. Would recommend to anyone.

What an absolute pleasure to deal with , customer service at its finest . Towbar on motorhome I thought was expensive but when I actually crawled underneath and had a look the amount of kit that goes into it and the standard of work is worth every penny . Towcar conversion again absolutely 10 out of 10 the a frame is extremely well made and the car conversion neat and functional. Can't recommend these people enough , thanks to Mat , Kay and the whole team at Armitages for providing a great service on our timescale at a great price.

Had towbar and car converted for A-frame. Great service throughout including comprehensive handover.Great little park up by canal if you wish to stay overnight. Using new set up first time today.
