If you are not counting calories, go visit the best bakery in the district! Obviously it's takeaway is the shop part, but there are 7 tables I think, so if you want to sit in for any hot item that's for sale, or a more substantial feed, then you can. It is cafe food, so don't be precious, but if you want to have it, then it is reasonable and served by smashing staff. A previous review mentioned greasy items, and unfortunately i have experienced this, but I now go for the sweet stuff and am rarely disappointed! I woukd suggest you try it and you will find something you like, just don't go if you are on a diet.....

Bought domino cake today sunday 24th july ... went to have a bit of the cake was like cutting into cardboard and just as dry its obviously been lying for days and was not fresh at all ....

I got sandwiches sausage rolls and chicken for a buffet amazing value got a 50th birthday cake made beautiful cake again great Value, staff are lovely would highly recommend

Drive over 40 mins every year to get the desserts for Christmas and year best bakers about. The steak pie is class. The staff are always friendly.

My wife and I travel from Kent to visit her dad. We always make a point of coming to this cafe. It’s the best cafe in all of Scotland!!And as my wife has a nut allergy, they are perfect as an entirely nut free cafe. Their cream donuts are to die for!!!
