My mum went here today and had an appalling experience. She booked a 90 minute appointment to be told she was only allowed to try on two styles of dresses, as to quote the sales assistant, they are too expensive to try on a lot of dresses " . Nowhere on the site does it mention a limit. At no point was she offered a hat or shoes to try on with her outfit. Meanwhile the sales assistants were running about getting hats and shoes for a woman who hadn't booked an appointment. Ruined what should have been a lovely experience for my mum. Wouldn't shop there for anything now and have told all the wedding guests and mother of the groom to avoid as well."

Just read the most recent review. My mum and her friend also visited the shop on the 22nd March to buy a mother of the bride outfit. The customer service they received was appalling with the lady in question showing no interest in assisting my mum on finding an outfit. So much so my mum came away from what should have been a memorable experience to vowing never to step foot in the shop again. Having a member of staff acting in this way must be so detrimental for the business.

My mum and I visited the shop yesterday and met with Jeanette who was so very patient and helpful assisting my mum on finding a lovely outfit to wear to her grand daughter's wedding in April.A wonderful selection of outfits with well known names and the accessories were also outstanding.We met Gina Smart herself and another lovely lady called Linda. Would highly recommend this shop.Very relaxed but professional service.

My mum Mary Dickson paid a happy visit to Gina's shop on 3 March 2022, bought a beautiful dress for her granddaughters wedding - great service lovely assistants lots of fun and laughter, would highly recommend to anyone. Jeanette was extremely helpful, only went to have a look and came out with my whole outfit for my son's wedding next April. Fantastic customer service from the ladies, well done.

22nd March, just left Gina Smart, I can honestly say that it was the worst shopping experience my wife and I have ever had. Our sales assistant did not introduce herself. We were the first customers of the day and within 10minutes she had forgotten the month of the wedding. She chose an outfit for my wife suggested it was a good fit, in my humble opinion it was like a sack of potatoes. We will NOT be returning there.

What can l say absolute amazing experience l had yesterday at the shopAfter travelling all over Scotland looking for MOB outfit my daughter came across Gina Smart shop and said we must try here Linda and Karen both made us feel so welcome the moment we stepped into shopAs being very fussy and after a few not nice experiences l was a bit apprehensiveLinda asked few questions regarding colours size styles l would like to try and made me feel very at easy no pressure at allLinda showed me a few and asked me just to try even l though they would put me out my comfort zone but as soon as l tried on l new looking l had found my dress l can’t thank Linda and Karen enough for given me a fantastic MOB experience l loved every minute and would highly recommend this shopThank you again to Linda and Karen for making my day so special l will definitely be back

I went into the shop today to enquire if a dress I had seen online and wanted for my daughters wedding would be coming into the shop. The dress was already in stock and even though I didn’t have an appointment the staff kindly waited on my daughter to arrive before allowing me to try the dress on. It was everything I wanted. I bought the dress, hat, shoes and bag. My mum also found her dress, fascinator, shoes and bag. The staff were absolutely lovely, especially Jackie (I’m sure that was her name). She really helped make a simple enquiry about the dress into a special afternoon. Thank you all so much. We will be back to choose my mother of the groom outfit as soon as we have a date for his wedding!.

Was in the shop yesterday looking for an outfit for our son's wedding in August, staff were fantastic, very friendly, knowledgeable and put me at ease. Linda asked a few questions on my thoughts for an outfit and got in spot on. I am delighted with my outfit.
