Was out on a ride en route to the tumble and had a minor mechanical. Popped in here, Very friendly and welcoming despite being soaked, gateway cycles fixed it very quick and genuinely felt they were just happy to have me back on the road. Thank you!

Had a fantastic mountain biking holiday in Whistler last week. Hired e-bikes from an English guy called Rob who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and cheerful. Would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic bike shop! Really friendly, knowledgeable & patient. Great atmosphere - a real buzz in the shop, with people coming in & out. And the adoreable two shop dogs! Soo friendly! We were staying nearby, on our honeymoon, & the dropper seatpost on my mountain bike became faulty - luckily we were carrying a spare & Getaway Cycles fitted in the swap that very morning! Thank you guys!

On a long ride across Wales with some friends, one of the group broke a rear gear cable. Luckily it was only 15 miles (mostly downhill) to Abergavenny, where the nice people at Gateway Cycles replaced the cable on the spot and charged a very fair fee for the job. Recommended!

Ordered a new bike for my lad. Ready to collect 2 days later. Checked for size and adjusted accordingly in store before I left with one very happy young chap. Used the store on multiple occasions and they are always helpful and knowledgeable. Great to have such a super bike shop so local.

Called twice regarding a bike I was interested in buying and no one called me back when promised. Also had work done here to repair my bike and they were slow to do the repairs.

Tweaks required during bikes first outing. Staff were friendly and made time to make some minor adjustments so the remainder of my ride was comfortable. Knowledgable chap in workshop gave valuable advice on system i’d bought into. Appreciate it. Highly recommend.
