We recently found out from our mortgage provider that the reason our mortgage transfer went so badly wrong was because our solicitor sat on easily completed paperwork for nearly 4 months (November till March) due to this my wife had a house purchase fall through and lost over a thousand pound (and also had to start looking again) our lifes have been turned upside-down over something that should have been simple.
