Very warm welcome when we arrived for a meal. We couldn't fault the food and the service was excellent. The pub had a friendly atmosphere - felt very comfortable here and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Our walking group of 16 were able to pre-book our meals before the inn opened. At the end of the walk, our group were, served drinks and food by a cheerful and obliging staff.Food excellent and reasonably priced, as were the drinks.

I ordered a medium rare Sirloin Steak. It was cooked to perfection. My wife had the Gammon which again she enjoyed. We both enjoyed a glass of wine with our meal. I had the house red, my wife had the house white. Both were lovely and smooth

Lovely place to have a few pints or a good session. Lots of space indoors and out. I recommend outside if the sun's out as its a real suntrap. The staff are attentive and can pour a lovely pint of Carling. Lots of bar snacks and there's and extensive pub grub menu.

Needed to find a place showing the football on TNT channel Saturday lunchtime and I got a timely response to my email enquiry about this. There weren't many people about but service was friendly and prompt. Decent food menu and certainly recommend the pulled pork/cheesy fries sharing dish.

Always have friendly staff on and delicious food served. Spacious and wheelchair/ double buggy friendly.I particularly love the back garden and the free books available for children to read.Plenty of parking just across the road. One of our go to local pubs when meeting friends/ family

Been coming here for over 10 years, my Grandma visits weekly with friends.Really disappointed on the puddings, they've been changed and they are not what is listed on menu.Apple Crumble is completely different, and no sauce.Jam Sponge rock solid, arrived cold, so we asked to be reheated. Still too hard for Grandma to eat so had to be left. She has this weekly and it's usually fine.Dirty plates and glasses left on table entire time, so I cleared them myself. Not the staffs fault but clearly understaffed as poor lad was doing everything. We will obviously be returning, but I really hope this was a one off, got a disheartened elderly lady! Thanks. Have to say, mains great as always.

A really good meal on a Sunday late afternoon.I had a veg chilli which was rather tasty, my partner a steak and cooked exactly as he asked and mum had a Scampi & chips and she ate all of it!

Comfortable, friendly place with lots of easy parking. Proper ale on tap and helpful staff only let down by the large meal portions. We struggled to find anything we wanted under 1000 calories which is unnecessary. The smallest burger is a double burger, and the price reflects the size. Offering a side salad instead of chips just isn't enough. Food was good though.
