Prompt attention, staff at all levels were freindly, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous.Despite the serious nature of the visit, it was still a pleasantly visit.

Absolutely brilliant staff always polite professional and let you know what's happening and the treatment I received was 5 star.

Feels strange leaving a review like its a restaurant or a business but thought I would do it case they read it or someone who is going there does. Incredible team of caring professionals who looked after me for a short time (Ward 37). Long shifts and extremely busy, every person there was amazingly cheerful, optimistic, knowledgeable with relentless dedication. Some patients are obviously more demanding than others, so please be understanding and return their diligent efforts by being courteous. Much thanks for going above and beyond just a job.

Took a friend in via the ambulance service. Met at the door by a lovely nurse, every member of staff was so proffess and efficient. Within 10 minutes my friend was undergoing a procedure that saved his life. Everything was explained to us in words that weren't too technical!!! Best place to be if you unfortunately have a heart problem. My friend said the food was really good too!!

What a great service and the staff were friendly and helpful in their preparation for my appointment and the staff were very friendly and helpful and provided the best advice for my condition as well as the rest of the appointment with the cardiac nurse at a clean hospital and I am sure that there is no need for me to worry about things that I can't do without the help of the hospital and I appreciate their support from the beginning of my heart bypass process that started in October too 2005 and then because I had a pacemaker fitted in October 2005, four or five days after my quadruple heart bypass was performed in the same hospital grounds I have been attending the pacemaker clinic regularly ever since they first fitted it.I have had to have it replaced twice in the time since the first fitting and every time I have had to come to the heart department of BVH I am always nervous and unsure of what effect the procedure will have upon myself and my wife and I have even been able to enjoy making the best possible use of the service and our family are so grateful for their medical experience of someone who has a heart problem and they are appreciative about the care they have heard that you are giving meThank you for your help and advice on my life wouldn't still be on this planet Planet if It wasn't for the best possible treatment and care that I have been in receipt of for the past few years and I have been able to use the experience to make a difference in my lifestyle and then I have lived longer than I was experiencing to , And the best possible outcome for me is that I have been able to see my 6 grandchildren and my great grandson born between 2002 and the new granddaughter was born in the same hospital only 3 days ago and she is gorgeous and I am sure that I am the luckiest person who has been able to get over the last few surgical procedures and I have survived the pain and heart bypass surgery and I have been able to get to see my four granddaughters and my two grandsons and then my only great grandson on a regular basis and I wish you could get a mention of how much care you can have in the heart unit at Blackpool's Victoria Hospital

Excellent service by all admin clerical and medical staff .

A second check up appointment with my mum after having a pacemaker fitted in March this year.A quick weight check and a question about our journey to the hospital then around the corner where we waited to see the doctor who had performed the surgery.There was a bit of a wait and one lady was huffing and puffing as she had something important to do afterwards. Don't we all?It's one of those things and we always anticipate there may be a wait...The consultation was excellent. Everything explained as to why the pacer was fitted and further follow ups would be done annually after the next pacemaker check in a few months time.We had some questions of our own and suggestions were given to possibly help with my mum's situation.It followed with an ECG and another short wait for the results to be checked over. Everything was good and we were free to go.All over in around 80 minutes.

My partner has a double by-pass here, Surgeon fantastic, Ward 37 brilliant, CCU brilliant and CITU great! Ward 39 on the other hand, so rude, played on their phones at the nurses station and just didn't seem to care. Shame on you 39!!
